This 1972 Yamaha DT2 Enduro 250 is said to have been on static display prior to the selling dealer’s August 2026 acquisition, and preparation for the sale consisted of cleaning and tuning the carburetor. Finished in Pearl Yellow Gold, the bike is powered by a 246cc two-stroke single paired with a five-speed transmission. Equipment includes 19″ and 18″ wire-spoke wheels, drum brakes, a kick starter, automatic oil injection, a high-mounted exhaust system, street lighting, a cross-braced handlebar, a black two-up seat, a skid plate, and a side stand. Showing 1,700 miles, this DT2 Enduro is offered at no reserve by 1600Veloce, a BaT Local Partner in New York, with a clean Maryland title.

The 2.5-gallon fuel tank, 1.7-quart oil tank, fork uppers, and headlight bucket are finished in Pearl Yellow Gold, while the fenders are finished in silver. Details include a double-cradle steel frame, street lighting, a left-side mirror, a black vinyl-upholstered two-up seat, folding passenger foot pegs, a skid plate, and a side stand. Wire-spoke wheels with 19″ and 18″ chromed steel rims and drum-brake hubs are mounted with Dunlop Trials Universal tires. Suspension consists of a conventional telescopic fork as well as dual preload-adjustable shocks mounted to the swingarm.

Nippon Seiki instrumentation ahead of the chrome cross-braced handlebar consists of a 100-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,500-rpm redline. The five-digit odometer shows 1,700 miles, approximately five of which were ridden under current ownership.

The 246cc two-stroke single was factory rated at 24 horsepower and 18 lb-ft of torque and is equipped with a kick starter, a 26mm Mikuni carburetor, reed-valve induction, Autolube oil injection, and a high-mount exhaust system with a chrome heat shield. The carburetor was cleaned and adjusted in preparation for the sale.

Power is routed to the rear wheel through a five-speed transmission and a drive chain.
