Recently, we released our latest roundup of the Best Books of the Century (So Far), this time focusing on nonfiction. The list, as you might imagine for such a broad category, was huge. Our biggest yet, in fact. The original 184-title list that came from staff and contributing writers went through several rounds of eliminations before we arrived at a final set of titles that we think are representative of the best nonfiction of the last 26 years.

If you’re curious which titles didn’t make the final list, we have them below for our All Access Subscribers. They include memoirs, cookbooks, science titles, self-help books, and more.

All access members continue below for our longlist of the best nonfiction books of the century.
