This 1969 Chevrolet El Camino SS was delivered new to Patterson Motors of Placerville, California, finished in Garnet Red with a black vinyl roof and cabin upholstery. It underwent a cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment circa 2020 and was acquired by the current owner in 2022. The pickup is powered by a 396ci Turbo-Jet V8 linked with a three-speed TH400 automatic transmission and a 12-bolt rear axle, and it also has a twin-dome hood, a snap-on tonneau cover, air conditioning, power front disc brakes, and 14″ Sport wheels with redline tires. An Edelbrock intake, a Bluetooth audio receiver, and Polk speakers were installed during the build. This El Camino SS is now offered on the owner’s behalf by the seller, a BaT Local Partner, at no reserve with a clean Idaho title in the owner’s name.

The pickup left the factory finished in Garnet Red with a black vinyl roof (52 B), and it was refinished during the work completed in 2020, per the selling dealer. Exterior details include a twin-dome hood, quad headlights, a drop-down tailgate, remote keyless entry, a snap-on tonneau cover, SS emblems, and chrome wheel arch moldings and side mirrors.

The 14″ Sport wheels are mounted with Firestone Super Sport redline tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and the F41 suspension package is said to have been equipped from the factory. Stopping is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.

The split bench seat is upholstered in black vinyl and offers headrests. Amenities include power windows, a retro-look Bluetooth receiver, Polk speakers, and air conditioning.

The split-spoke steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, a fuel-level gauge, and indicator lights for generator, temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 67k miles, approximately 50 of which were added under current ownership.

The 396ci V8 breathes through a four-barrel carburetor and an Edelbrock intake manifold, and the build board states that the drivetrain was overhauled under prior ownership. The TH400 three-speed automatic transmission is linked with a 12-bolt rear end that is reported to have a PosiTraction differential and 3.36:1 gears. The dual exhaust system has Dynomax mufflers.
