This 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 was originally specified in Black Jade with a black-out hood, a shaker hood scoop, a black interior, power steering and front disc brakes, air conditioning, a Sport Deck rear seat, an AM/FM radio, tinted glass, and a tachometer and trip odometer. According to the seller, the car was parked at McMahon Air Force Base in 1972 and remained there until the former base property was sold in the late 1970s. It was subsequently donated to Howard Junior College’s vocational program, where it underwent refurbishment and color change during the early 1980s before being purchased by a Midland, Texas, owner in the mid-1980s. The car retains an M-code 351ci 4V V8 paired with an FMX Select Shift three-speed automatic transmission and now has a rear spoiler, Sport Slats, and Deluxe trim. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2021 from its long-term owner, this Mach 1 now indicates ~31,500 miles and is offered with a Marti Report, the owner’s manual, a build sheet copy, service records, and a Texas title.

Originally Black Jade, the body has been repainted red and features Mach 1 graphics, Sport Slats, dual exhaust outlets, and a rear spoiler.

The car was ordered with a black-out hood with a shaker scoop.

The 14″ styled-steel wheels are mounted with F70-14 Goodyear tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes.

The cabin features high-back front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl along with woodgrain trim. Air conditioning has been retained and an AM radio has been retrofitted, though the latter is inoperative.

The Deluxe steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and fuel-level and temperature gauges. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 31,500 miles, around 50 of which were added under current ownership.

The optional M-code 351ci 4V V8 was factory rated at 290 horsepower. Records indicate that the top end was rebuilt in the 1980s.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via an FMX Select Shift three-speed automatic transmission. The fuel tank and exhaust system appear to be newer components.
