26k-Mile 2000 BMW Z8

This 2000 BMW Z8 is finished in Jet Black with a body-color hardtop and is powered by a 4.9-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission. It rides on 18″ split-spoke alloy wheels and is further equipped with a black soft top, xenon headlights, and neon taillights. Inside, the heated power-adjustable sport seats are trimmed in Crema and Black Nappa leather and complemented by a Harman Kardon sound system, a CD changer, navigation, and air conditioning. Acquired by its current owner from the consigning dealer on BaT in March 2026, this Z8 now has 26k miles and is offered with manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.

The Z8 features bodywork designed by Henrik Fisker with inspiration from the BMW 507 roadster, and the aluminum body panels are mounted over an aluminum spaceframe. This example is finished in Jet Black (668) and features a color-matched removable hardtop and a black soft top. Additional equipment includes xenon headlights with washers, front fender air extractors with BMW roundels, polished mirror caps, dual exhaust outlets, and neon taillights and turn indicators. The hood and passenger quarter panel have been refinished. The selling dealer notes a scuff near the front roundel and scratches on the hardtop roof and around the body. Photos of paint meter readings are viewable in the gallery below.

The 18” split-spoke wheels are wrapped in 245/45 front and 275/40 rear Michelin Pilot Sport All Season tires with 2025 date codes. The four-wheel disc brake system is equipped with Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), and additional features include Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) and All-Season Traction (ASC).

The cabin features Crema and Black Nappa leather upholstery that extends from the heated power-adjustable seats to the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include a six-disc CD changer, navigation, a Harman Kardon sound system, leather-wrapped roll hoops, air conditioning, and cruise control.

The banjo-spoke steering wheel features silver trim within a leather-wrapped rim. Centrally mounted instrumentation includes a 155-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer with an integrated analog clock, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 26k miles, approximately 800 of which have been added under current ownership.

The 4.9-liter S62 V8 was shared with the contemporary E39 M5 and features double-VANOS variable valve timing for a factory-rated output of 394 horsepower and 368 lb-ft of torque. The vehicle passed a California emissions test in July 2026.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
