I personally had four different subscriptions to Google products on my personal account — Google One storage, YouTube Premium, Fitbit Premium, and Gemini Advanced — and in the case of the latter, it’s one that I often forgot to cancel the renewal on.

Like any human being, I love a bargain, or at least the perception of one. The Google AI Pro bundle is the definition of an absolute bargain, especially if you use one or two of the services.
First, it replaces the previous Google One bundle. In fact, consider it the evolution of that, as it’s managed by the same Google One bundle subscription process; the subscriptions are now named AI XYZ. I used to pay $9.99/m for 2TB of storage and was very close to my storage limit, but now the new bundle includes 5 TB. This is shared across Google Drive, Photos, and Gmail, and it’s more than enough for 99% of users. The best part? You can also share this with up to 5 family members.

Then there’s the Gemini Pro access; this alone is worth the $20/month price tag. This gives you access to Gemini Thinking and Gemini Pro models, which are quite capable for most of your tasks. It also lets you build platforms in Google AI Studio with the same allowances, and it’s a great platform for average users to build tools and platforms, since integrations with other Google services streamline complex tasks like database management and file storage.

The three hidden gems inside the Google AI Pro bundle
Google’s integration into your daily life is second to none, and the Google AI Pro bundle proves it has finally cracked how to deliver value and inspire customer loyalty. The key is that each of these three was a standalone bundle that would arguably be worth paying for on its own, and at least two had already proven their market fit.
First, there’s everyone’s favorite service: YouTube. The Google AI Pro bundle includes YouTube Premium Lite, which is designed to make YouTube Premium accessible to more customers. If you want fewer ads, a more streamlined experience, and a few other perks but don’t need the full ad-free YouTube Premium experience, this is a great subscription… and now it’s included in this bundle. The best AI bundle for everyone, even iPhone users
If you subscribe to cloud storage or an AI provider, the Google AI Pro bundle is a no-brainer, as it objectively offers more value for a similar price. If you already subscribe to one or two of Google’s other services, or any other combination, it’s also a no-brainer: $70 worth of services for $20.
Here’s where things get really interesting, however: Google is working on Project Aura, which will be among the first Gemini-powered smart glasses. They’re launching before the end of the year, and Gemini allowances are presumably key to making the most of them. If you’re buying the new iPhone Duo, you’re probably buying the new Apple Watch and may even consider Google’s glasses. All of these bundled integrations ultimately give you a wide swathe of products and services, many of which are best in class.
Personally, I mostly wear an Apple Watch, and while the Pixel Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 both have excellent, unique features, the Apple Watch has saved my life, so it’s hard to move away. Google Health Premium integrating with Apple Health, plus the included 5TB of storage, is enough for the Google AI Pro bundle to cement its place in my workflow, let alone the included YouTube Premium Lite and Gemini Advanced subscriptions.
The fact that it comes included with the Pixel 11 series, some of the best Android phones you can buy, the Pixel Watch 5, or the Fitbit Air is just an added bonus.
