This 1954 Chevrolet Corvette is the 399th of 3,640 examples produced for the model year, and it is a non-running project that is said to have been in storage for the past 50 years. A 283ci V8 and a four-speed manual transmission were previously installed, and equipment includes an aftermarket hardtop, wire mesh headlight guards, an AM radio, and a dash-mounted rear-view mirror. The paint finish has deteriorated and the interior upholstery and seats are missing. This C1 Corvette was acquired by the selling dealer in 2026 and is now offered with a transferable New York registration.

The body is painted in brown with areas of wear and missing paint. There is damage to the rear, a repair on the left front fender, the windshield is cracked, and most of the bumper pisces are missing. Tops include an aftermarket hardtop and a torn soft top, and additional details include, wire mesh headlight guards, and a chrome grille.

Red-finished 15″ steel wheels are wrapped in whitewall tires. The brakes do not work, and corrosion is noted on the suspension and frame.

The interior upholstery is missing, and the transmission tunnel has damage. The AM radio is retained in the dashboard.

The two-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and fronts a 140-mph speedometer. A central 5k-rpm tachometer is flanked by gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, amperage, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 78k miles. Total mileage is unknown.

A 283ci V8 and four-speed manual transmission were installed under previous ownership, though components, such as a carburetor and the clutch, are missing. The electrical system does not work.
