This 1956 Morris Minor 1000 is a left-hand-drive Series III Traveller first sold in North America that was acquired by the selling dealer in 2021 and is described as an ongoing project that needs an interior refresh. Refurbishment work carried out under current ownership included body repairs prior to a repaint in green, replacing the cylinder head gasket on the 948cc inline-four, and replacing the rear wood framing, drum brakes, and wheel cylinders. It features 14″ steel wheels, a four-speed manual transmission, an aluminum radiator, and an electric fuel pump. This running and driving Minor Traveller project is now offered in Massachusetts at no reserve by the selling dealer with service records and Connecticut registration

The car left the factory in Mid Green (E) and was repainted in 2025 following body repairs that began in 2022, and which included replacing the left front fender. A replacement grille and rear wood framing were sourced from ESM Morris Minors of East Sussex in the United Kingdom. A removed set of trafficators is included in the sale.

White-finished 14″ steel wheels wear polished hubcaps and are mounted with Hankook tires. The front wheel cylinders and the brake drums and hoses were replaced in 2021, and the rear wheel cylinders were replaced in 2026.

The left-hand-drive cabin features front seats and a rear bench trimmed in green vinyl. The carpets are missing, there are tears in the upholstery, and areas of the dashboard have oxidized.

The banjo-style steering wheel fronts a centrally located Smiths 86-mph speedometer that is flanked by gauges for fuel level and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 40k miles.

The car is powered by a 948cc A-Series inline-four and is equipped with an SU carburetor, an aluminum radiator, and an electric fuel pump. The thermostat, starter solenoid, lower radiator hose, cylinder head gasket, and engine mounts were replaced in 2021, the distributor was rebuilt in 2022, the carburetor was rebuilt in 2023, and the oil was changed in 2026. The seller notes that a coating has been applied to the inside of the fuel tank.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. Rust is visible on underbody components.
