This 2002 Jeep Wrangler SE was sold new by Southfield Jeep of Southfield, Michigan, and it remained with its original owner until shortly before the seller purchased the vehicle on BaT in February 2024. The black Jeep has been updated with Rawlings-branded brown leather seat covers, and it is powered by a 2.5-liter inline-four linked with a three-speed automatic transmission and a Command-Trac transfer case. Features include 15″ steel wheels, a black soft top, metal half doors, air conditioning, and a CD stereo. Work performed under current ownership involved overhauling the brakes, replacing the transmission-pan gasket and the battery, and removing a grille guard and side steps. This TJ Wrangler has 9k miles and is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, 2002 sales paperwork, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a Wisconsin title in the seller’s name.

The truck is finished in Black (PX8) and features a black soft top, door curtains, and side panels as well as metal half doors, dual side mirrors, and a swing-out tailgate. The seller removed the brush guard and tubular side steps that were fitted at the time of the previous BaT auction.

Nine-hole 15″ steel wheels wear Goodyear Wrangler RT/S tires that were mounted in 2020, and a spare is secured to the rear of the vehicle. In 2024, the seller had the front brake rotors, calipers, pads, and hoses replaced and also cleaned and adjusted the rear drums.

Rawlings badges are affixed to both front fenders.

Baseball-glove-style brown leather covers were fitted over the front bucket and rear bench seats during original ownership. The front seatbacks are embroidered with Rawlings logos. A Rawlings-branded floor mat is located in the cargo area.

Interior appointments include air conditioning, cupholders, a locking glovebox, a passenger-side grab handle, an AM/FM/CD stereo, four speakers, and a padded roll bar.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, battery voltage, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The digital odometer indicates 9k miles, approximately 500 of which were added by the seller.

The 2.5-liter inline-four was rated at 120 horsepower and 140 lb-ft of torque when new. The oil has been changed under current ownership, and the battery was replaced in July 2026.

Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a 30RH three-speed automatic transmission and a Command-Trac dual-range transfer case. The transmission-pan gasket was replaced in August 2026 and the fluid was changed.

The Carfax report is free of accidents and other damage.

The Wisconsin title carries a “Previously titled by: MI” notation under the Additional Vehicle Detail section and also notes “Exempt” under the Odometer Status box.
