This 1983 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am is a 25th Anniversary Daytona 500 Pace Car Edition example that was acquired by the current owner on BaT in February 2025. It is finished in white and gray over Medium Sand Gray upholstery and is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes removable T-top panels, a front lip spoiler, extended rocker panels, a rear spoiler, a rear apron, pop-up headlights, 16″ diamond-spoke aluminum wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, Recaro front seats, air conditioning, a Delco cassette stereo, and power windows and locks. This Firebird Trans Am shows 49k miles and is now offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of the owner with removed parts, a set of Aero wheels and tires, a scale model of the car, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Texas title.

All 25th Anniversary Daytona 500 Pace Car examples were finished in white with gray metallic lower body panels, and model-specific features include a front lip spoiler, extended rocker panels, a rear spoiler, and a rear apron. Additional exterior equipment includes removable T-top panels, a front air dam, hood dome graphics, body-color mirror caps, and pop-up headlights. Exterior blemishes include scuffs and touched-up paint.

The 16″ diamond-spoke aluminum wheels are mounted with 245/50 Falken Ziex ZE950 A/S tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted discs at each corner. The car came equipped from the factory with power steering as well as an independent front suspension with MacPherson struts.

The cabin features Recaro front seats and split-folding individual rear seats upholstered in Medium Sand Gray leather with cloth inserts. A carpeted cover has been installed on the dashboard, and additional interior elements include air conditioning, a Delco cassette stereo, and power windows and locks. The cruise control does not work.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel is mounted on a tilting column and frames an 85-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for voltage, fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 49k miles, approximately 4k of which were added under current ownership.

The 5.0-liter V8 has been fitted with an Edelbrock carburetor, an aftermarket distributor, an open-element air cleaner, and aftermarket exhaust components. An oil change was performed and the spark plugs and fuel filter were reportedly replaced in September 2024. The removed factory carburetor will accompany the vehicle sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. An aluminum driveshaft is installed, the transmission mount was replaced in February 2026 and the removed driveshaft will accompany the vehicle.
