This 1973 Honda CL350 Scrambler was purchased by the seller in 2022 and was subsequently fitted with a Flying Dragon green and purple paint set that the seller had previously imported from Japan. Power is from a 325cc parallel-twin paired with a five-speed transmission. Equipment includes a chrome high-mount exhaust system, both kick and electric starters, dual Keihin carburetors, drum brakes, a side stand, a center stand, dual mirrors, and a black vinyl-upholstered two-up seat. This CL350 is now offered with a print magazine featuring a Honda’s ad for Flying Dragon motorcycles in Japan and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

Honda introduced the Flying Dragon custom-painted bodywork set for CL350 and CL450 models for the 1972 model year. This example wears a fuel tank and side panels finished in a green and purple marbled paint scheme, which was achieved using a water-transfer printing method. Additional features include turn signals, dual mirrors, both center and side stands, and a black vinyl-upholstered two-up seat.

The 19″ and 18″ wire-spoke wheels are mounted with Metzeler front and IRC rear tires. Suspension consists of a telescopic fork as well as dual shocks mounted to the swingarm. Braking is handled by front and rear drums, the front of which features a twin leading-shoe design.

A chrome cross-braced handlebar is mounted to the top triple clamp via a riser and fronts green-dial Nippon Seiki instrumentation consisting of a 110-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 9,200-rpm redline. The bike is equipped with a steering damper. The five-digit odometer shows 6k miles, 70 of which were ridden under current ownership.

The 325cc four-stroke parallel-twin features dual Keihin carburetors and was factory rated at 33 horsepower and 19 lb-ft of torque. The bike is equipped with a high-mount chrome exhaust system as well as both kick and electric starters.

Power is sent to the rear wheel through a five-speed transmission and a drive chain.
