This 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa is finished in red over a Linen interior and is powered by a 3.2-liter flat-six paired with a G50 five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes 15″ Fuchs wheels, sport seats, air conditioning, a Blaupunkt Bremen SQR46 stereo, and Infinity speakers. The car was sold on BaT in July 2018 before being acquired by the seller on the site in June 2022. Subsequent work included resealing the engine and gearbox, refurbishing the targa roof panel, performing interior repairs, and more as described below. This Carrera Targa shows 81k miles and is now offered with service records, a clean Carfax report, and a Virginia title in the seller’s name.

The car left the factory finished in Carmine Red and is said to have been repainted under previous ownership. Exterior features include a black removable targa roof panel, integrated fog lights, and heated power-adjustable side mirrors. Work performed under current ownership included retrimming the targa roof panel and replacing the windshield and various seals. The seller notes that a paint correction was performed and a ceramic coating was applied in 2025. Fading is noted on the decklid, and close-up photos of the exterior are provided in the gallery below.

The 15″ Fuchs alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs. The steering column bushing was replaced in 2022; the front struts and rear shocks were replaced in 2023; and the brake fluid was flushed in February 2026.

A replacement parcel shelf and door panels were fitted under current ownership, and the front seats were re-dyed. A Blaupunkt Bremen SQR46 stereo and four Infinity speakers were also installed. Additional work included disabling the alarm and replacing the cruise control unit. The air conditioning system was recharged in February 2026.

The four-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline as well as a 170-mph speedometer, a Quarz clock, and gauges for oil level, oil pressure, oil temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 81k miles, approximately 5k of which were added under current ownership.

The 3.2-liter M930/25 flat-six features Bosch Motronic engine management and was factory rated at 217 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a G50 five-speed manual transaxle. The gearbox was resealed in July 2022, and the engine was removed from the car and resealed in January 2023. A valve adjustment was performed in June 2025. A Dasnk Sport muffler was installed in February 2026. The following components were also replaced under current ownership:
