This 1965 Ford Mustang fastback was refurbished and customized as part of a GT350-style build between 2006 and 2013, which involved placing it on a rotisserie and and refinishing the body in Orange Sunset Pearl. It features GT350-style equipment, 17″ wheels, Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, Vintage Air climate control, a Flaming River steering column, and front bucket seats. The car is powered by a C-code 289ci V8 with a performance camshaft, Shelby-style oil pan, an Edelbrock carburetor and intake manifold, Cobra-script valve covers, and MSD ignition, and it is linked to a four-speed manual transmission and a 9″ rear end with a 3.73 limited-slip differential. Acquired by the seller in 2025, this Mustang fastback is now offered in Palmdale, California, with service records and a Montana title in the name of the seller’s LLC.

According to the seller, the car was redone between 2006 and 2013. The body was placed on a rotisserie, refinished in Orange Sunset Pearl, and fitted with a Shelby-style hood, hood pins, black GT350-style stripes and side graphics, Cobra and GT350 badging, a left-side mirror, and a side-exit exhaust system.

Alloy 17″ wheels are mounted with 225/60 tires. The suspension was rebuilt and features refinished components, and Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors were installed as part of the refurbishment.

The cabin features front bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl and a Shelby-style rear-seat delete panel. Vintage Air climate control and a CD stereo were installed, though the seller notes that the radio currently only produces static.

A Shelby-style steering wheel is mounted to a Flaming River steering column and fronts a Classic Instruments gauge package with a 160-mph speedometer, fuel, voltage, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and clock readouts. A 10k-rpm tachometer is mounted atop the dashboard. The replacement odometer shows approximately 320 miles, around 100 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The C-code 289ci V8 was rebuilt in 2009 by Southern Style Racing and has reportedly accumulated approximately 320 miles since completion. Modifications include a performance camshaft, a Shelby-style oil pan, an Edelbrock carburetor and intake manifold, Cobra-script valve covers, and MSD ignition. A Monte Carlo bar, export brace, and Painless wiring harness were also installed.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a Ford 9″ rear axle with a 3.73:1 limited-slip differential. The seller states the transmission was rebuilt in 2009, and the underbody was refinished and undercoated during the restoration.
