This 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer spent decades in Nevada before being refurbished by Wagonmaster of Kerrville, Texas, circa 2010. The truck was previously offered on BaT in May 2019, and in November 2019 the current owner bought the vehicle from Wagonmaster, which had reacquired and updated it in the ensuing months. The 360ci V8 and the three-speed automatic transmission are Jasper components that were replaced by Wagonmaster, and a fuel-injection system and MSD ignition components were adapted since the prior BaT auction. Finished in blue with faux-woodgrain trim over beige leather upholstery with plaid inserts, the Jeep is equipped with a dual-range transfer case, aluminum 15″ wheels, a roof rack, a receiver hitch, a Kenwood stereo, and aftermarket speakers. The pulse-air injection system was removed under current ownership, the air conditioning was serviced, and the steering gear, belts, and ignition-lock cylinder were replaced. This modified FSJ is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with manufacturer’s literature, recent service records, a Carfax report, and a California title in the owner’s name.

Finished from the factory in Dark Baltic Blue Metallic (PQ9), the vehicle was repainted and clearcoated during the aforementioned refurbishment by Wagonmaster. Replacement faux-woodgrain trim adorns the body sides and tailgate, and other features include aftermarket headlamps, rectangular driving lights, a hood ornament, a receiver hitch, an electric rear window, a rear-window wiper, and a bright-finished roof rack, bumpers, mirror caps, and trim. The left-front door was replaced in 2016. The passenger-side rear door was adjusted in September 2026, and the driver-side rear door’s window regulator was replaced. A dime-sized area of bubbling paint is noted at the driver-side base of the windshield. The Carfax report records an instance of “minor damage” in August 2017.

Wagonmaster decals are placed on both front doors within gold-colored pinstriping. These details were added since the previous BaT auction.

Forged-aluminum 15″ wheels are mounted with Toyo Eclipse whitewall tires. Coilover shocks help support the rear axle. Braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The gear for the power-assisted steering was replaced in 2020.

The interior features power-adjustable front seats and a rear bench upholstered in beige leather. The seller tells us that the seats’ plaid inserts feature cloth from Ralph Lauren and were installed by Wagonmaster. Amenities include a folding center armrest, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, power locks, woodgrain trim, a Kenwood stereo, aftermarket speakers, an overhead console, and three-point front and rear seatbelts. The A/C was serviced and recharged with R134a refrigerant in September 2026. The driver seat exhibits wear, and other interior blemishes are pictured in the gallery below.

A wood cupholder on the transmission tunnel carries Wagonmaster branding.

The two-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel attaches to a tilting column and frames a 100-mph speedometer, a digital clock, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 102k miles, approximately 15k of which have been added under current ownership. The ignition-lock cylinder was replaced in 2024.

The 360ci V8 is a Jasper Engines & Transmissions–sourced replacement that was installed during the refurbishment. The pulse-air injection system was removed in 2020 in favor of Howell electronic fuel injection that is topped by a K&N open-element air cleaner; the placement of the vacuum harness and the oxygen sensor were corrected during the EFI conversion. The accessory belts were replaced in 2021. In 2023, MSD ignition parts were fitted, namely the distributor cap and rotor, ignition coil, plug wires, and ignition controller. The vehicle passed California emissions testing most recently in October 2023.

Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a Jasper-supplied replacement three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned instance of damage in 2017.
