1996 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S at No Reserve

This 1996 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S was purchased in 2011 by the seller who has since added approximately 8k of the 116k miles. The car was modified under previous ownership with a rear seat delete and custom stereo with Pioneer head unit and additional modifications under current ownership have included a Bilstein coilover suspension, a single mass flywheel clutch, a Fister Stage 3 exhaust, and a Fister short shifter. Finished in Arena Red Metallic over Black leather, it is powered by a 3.6-liter flat-six that drives all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential. Additional equipment includes 18″ Kenesis K28 wheels, a power-operated sunroof, cruise control, and air conditioning. This 993 C4S is now offered at no reserve with service records, a clean Carfax report, and a New Mexico title in the seller’s name.

The 993 C4S features wider rear bodywork in comparison with the standard Carrera as well as a front air dam derived from the contemporary Turbo. This example is finished in Arena Red Metallic (L84S) and features headlight washers, fog lights, heated power-adjustable mirrors, a power-operated sunroof, black rear bumperettes, a speed-activated rear spoiler, a rear window wiper, and dual exhaust outlets. The hood and rear fenders were resprayed in preparation for the sale.

The 18″ Kenesis K28 wheels were mounted with Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R tires in 2017. The car features an Automatic Brake Differential (ABD), and the 993 was the first 911 to feature multi-link rear suspension. Bilstein PSS10 coilover suspension has been installed, and braking is handled by red-finished Porsche-branded calipers over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners.

The cabin was modified under previous ownership with replacement power-adjustable front seats upholstered in Black leather, a rear seat delete with a parcel shelf-mounted remote CD changer, a Pioneer head unit, and a front trunk-mounted Xtant amplifier. A Fister short shift kit was installed under current ownership and the seller notes the air conditioner was recharged in 2023.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 180-mph speedometer, a Quarz analog clock, and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 116k miles, approximately 8k of which were added under current ownership.

The air-cooled 3.6L flat-six features a VarioRam intake system and was factory rated at 282 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. The wiring harness, alternator, and battery were replaced in December 2024.

Power is sent to all four wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential. A Fister Stage 3 exhaust is fitted and the seller notes a single mass flywheel clutch was installed in 2020.
