1993 Dodge Viper RT/10

This 1993 Dodge Viper RT/10 was previously owned by Sony Pictures Television, and it is reported to have been used on set by Pamela Anderson while starring as Valley Irons in the American television series V.I.P. around the turn of the century. Repainted in red over replacement red upholstery, the car is powered by an 8.0-liter V10 paired with a six-speed manual transmission. The car was acquired in 2026 by the selling dealer, who tells us that modifications for television production purposes include a line-lock system, a raised suspension, and underbody camera mounts. The car is further equipped with a forward-opening clamshell hood, a removable black roof panel, side-exit exhaust outlets, later-model-style 18″ wheels, a refinished dashboard, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Now showing 45k miles, this Viper is offered in Florida by Bulletmotorsportsinc, a BaT Local Partner, with a Johnny Lightning die-cast Viper model, a bill of sale from Sony Pictures Television, historical documents, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.

The first-generation Viper was designed in-house at Chrysler by Tom Gale and utilizes composite body panels over a tubular steel space-frame chassis, and this example has been repainted in red. Exterior details include a forward-opening clamshell hood, a removable black roof panel, and side-exit exhaust outlets. The fog light covers are missing, and the selling dealer notes blemishes on the hood and the top.

Later-model-style 18″ wheels were mounted with 275/35 front and 335/30 rear Pirelli tires in August 2019. The selling dealer tells us that the four-wheel independent suspension was raised for television production purposes. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with vented rotors and Viper-branded front calipers, and 1993 models were not equipped with ABS. Fluid seepage is noted from the power steering rack.

The bucket seats have been reupholstered in red, and the dashboard has been refinished in gray. The radio is inoperative, the air conditioning does not blow cold, and the selling dealer notes missing trim components on the driver-side door panel.

The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel sits ahead of a white-dial 180-mph speedometer and a matching tachometer, while a quartet of auxiliary gauges is housed in the center of the dashboard. The six-digit odometer shows 45k miles.

The 8.0-liter OHV V10 was factory rated at 400 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque. The top of the engine has been repainted, and the car has been fitted with a line-lock system.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec T-56 six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional underside photos can be viewed in the gallery below.

A Johnny Lightning die-cast Viper model is included in the sale along with a bill of sale from Sony Pictures Television, historical documents, and service records.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other damage.
