This 1972 MGB Roadster is powered by a 1.8-liter inline-four and equipped with a five-speed manual transmission that was installed via a Rivergate conversion kit. Finished in Green Mallard over black vinyl, the car also features 15″ Minator wheels, electronic ignition, a black tonneau cover, a wood-rimmed Moto-Lita steering wheel, and a heater. Acquired by the seller in 2016, this MGB is now offered at no reserve with a replacement soft top and an Indiana title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Green Mallard and features a black tonneau cover and bumper overriders. The seller notes the black soft top is in poor condition and a replacement soft top and antenna are included in the sale. Imperfections including rust, a dent, and paint chips are presented in the gallery.

Silver-finished 15″ Minator wheels were reportedly mounted with Sumitomo HTR Enhance Lx2 tires in May 2026, at which point the front disc brake rotors, pads, and wheel bearings were replaced.

The cabin is trimmed in black vinyl and features a center console with storage under the armrest in addition to a locking glove box and a heater. The dashboard is cracked, the horn and aftermarket stereo are disconnected, and the turn signal auto-cancellation does not work.

The wood-rimmed Moto-Lita steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation including a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges displaying oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 15k miles, approximately 10k of which were added under current ownership.

The 1.8-liter inline-four was factory-equipped with twin SU carburetors and rated at 78 horsepower and 94 lb-ft of torque. The seller notes that electronic ignition components are installed and an oil leak is present.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a Datsun-sourced five-speed transmission that was reportedly installed using a Rivergate conversion kit.

The Indiana title lists a VIN of “GHN5U270996G”, which omits the sixth character, “C”, from the sequence shown on the tag above, and it notes “Exempt/Exempt” under the Odometer/Brand heading.
