1976 Porsche 911S Targa Project

This 1976 Porsche 911S Targa is a non-running project equipped with a 2.7-liter flat-six and a five-speed manual transaxle. Finished in metallic copper over black leather, it features 15″ Fuchs alloy wheels, a brushed Targa bar, body-color bumpers, and front bucket seats. The seller notes the engine can be turned over using the key, and the car has been off the road for an extended period of time prior to the current owner’s recent acquisition from the previous owning family of 20 years. This mid-year 911 is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with a California title in the current owner’s name.

The car is finished in metallic copper and features a brushed Targa bar and body-color headlight trim rings and impact bumpers. There is bondo on the hood, and the condition of the rest of the body is presented in the gallery below.

Silver- and black-finished 15″ Fuchs wheels are mounted with a mixed set of tires, and the car was factory-equipped with ventilated disc brakes.

The seating surfaces are trimmed in black leather. The front bucket seats are torn, the dashboard is cracked, and the carpets and audio components are missing.

VDO instrumentation comprises of a 150-mph speedometer, a centrally mounted tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, oil level, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 94k miles.

The 2.7-liter flat-six features Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and can be turned over using the key, per the seller, who also notes the car last passed California emissions testing in 1988.

The drivetrain includes a five-speed manual transaxle.

The California title carries a “Title Only” notation and notes “Not Actual Mileage” under the Odometer Date heading.
