This 1958 Pontiac Star Chief Catalina two-door hardtop is said to have been with the family of the original owner, remaining in California from new until circa 2010, when it was relocated to the Pacific Northwest. It was purchased by the selling dealer in 2023 from the niece of the original owner. The car is finished in two-tone green over cream and green vinyl, and it is powered by a 370ci V8 linked with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 15″ painted steel wheels with Pontiac-branded covers, power-assisted brakes, power steering, front lap belts, and a heater. This Star Chief is now offered by the selling dealer with a clean Washington title.

The car left the factory finished in Burma Green and Calypso Green and was repainted in the early 2000s. Exterior details include dual side mirrors, a power antenna, and bright bumpers and trim. Corrosion is noted around the body, and pitted chrome can be viewed in the gallery. Various trim pieces are missing.

Green-painted 15″ painted steel wheels feature bright covers with Pontiac script and are mounted with wide-whitewall tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is provided by power-assisted drums at each corner. Play is noted in the front end.

The cabin houses front and rear bench seats that have been reupholstered in cream and green vinyl. Interior equipment includes a push-button AM radio, front lap belts, and a heater. The radio does not work.

The steering wheel fronts a 120-mph horizontal speedometer alongside a round combination gauge for fuel level, charging, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 50k miles, approximately 600 of which were added under current ownership. The fuel gauge is said to read ¼-tank high.

The 370ci V8 was factory equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and was rated at 285 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission.
