This Classic Roadsters Cobra replica was built in 1992 and is powered by a 429ci Ford V8 mated to a Tremec five-speed manual gearbox. The seller purchased the car on BaT in December 2020, and subsequent work has involved installing Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes as well as replacing the carburetor, water pump, heat shields, clutch pedal, steering wheel, and shifter. Finished in red with white stripes, the vehicle features American Racing 15″ wheels, side-exit exhaust pipes, tubular headers, an Edelbrock intake manifold, an aluminum radiator, an auxiliary electric cooling fan, a roll hoop, a Kenwood stereo, and Classic Instruments gauges. This Cobra replica is now offered with recent service records, a tonneau cover, a wall banner, and an Oklahoma title in the seller’s name describing the car as a 1966 Ford Cobra Replica.

The fiberglass body is finished in red with white stripes. Details include a hood scoop, 427 badging, fender vents, windshield wipers, side mirrors, wind wings, side pipes, a Le Mans–style fuel-filler cap, and chrome bumperettes.

A chrome roll hoop is positioned behind the driver seat. The heat shields for the exhaust pipes were replaced under current ownership. The seller notes scratches and paint flaws on the lower front fascia, two chips in the glass, and imperfections on the driver-side rear fender, as pictured in the gallery below.

American Racing Shelby-branded 15″ wheels are mounted with 235/60 front and 295/50 rear Performance GT Grand Prix tires. A Wilwood braking system with discs, red-painted calipers, and drilled-and-slotted rotors at all four corners was installed in late 2021.

The cockpit features low-back bucket seats with black vinyl upholstery and red latch-and-link lap belts. Other interior appointments include a dash-mounted rearview mirror, a Bluetooth-compatible Kenwood stereo, aftermarket speakers, door-panel storage pockets, and black carpeting. A Harley-Davidson accessory bag is located behind the seats.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel and the white-knob Tremec shifter were replaced under current ownership. Classic Instruments gauges consist of a 120-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and readouts for oil pressure, coolant temperature, battery voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 12k miles, approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership.

The 385-series “D1” Ford big-block V8 is said to displace 429ci and is fitted with “D0” cylinder heads from the early 1970s. The engine is complemented by an Edelbrock Torker II 460 intake manifold, chrome “427 Cobra” valve covers, tubular exhaust headers, MSD ignition components, a Powermaster starter, and an aluminum radiator with an auxiliary electric cooling fan. A Summit 750-cfm four-barrel carburetor was installed under current ownership along with an open-element air cleaner, and the water pump was replaced.

Power is dispatched to the rear wheels through a Tremec TKO five-speed manual transmission. The clutch-pedal assembly was replaced under current ownership.
The Oklahoma title describes the vehicle as a 1966 Ford Cobra Replica Coupe. The document also lists “Exempt” under the Odometer field, carries a “Classic” notation, and cites “WA Classic” in a section referencing a previous title.
