This 1996 Land Rover Defender 90 is a left-hand-drive three-door wagon that was first delivered to Italy for service with the Carabinieri and was imported to the US following the seller’s 2025 acquisition. Powered by a 2.0-liter gasoline inline-four linked to a five-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking center differential, the truck has been refinished in black, while the interior was retrimmed in matching quilted leather. It features 16″ five-spoke wheels, disc brakes, LED headlights, a tow ball, tubular side steps, and an Alpine Bluetooth stereo. This Defender 90 is now offered with a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Utah title in the seller’s name.

The truck left the factory in Lord Blue and has been refinished in black. It features LED headlights, tubular side steps, a tow ball, rear mudflaps, and an aftermarket grille and headlight surrounds.

Black-finished 16″ five-spoke wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A K02 tires, and a spare is affixed to the rear door. Stopping power is provided by discs at each corner.

The cabin has been trimmed in black leather with red stitching and quilted inserts. Features include front bucket seats, inward-facing rear jump seats, a center console, and an Alpine Bluetooth stereo.

Instrumentation consists of a 120-mph speedometer, a clock, and auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 62k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.

The truck is equipped with a T16 2.0-liter MPi inline-four that was factory rated at 136 horsepower and 136 lb-ft of torque.

Power is routed to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking center differential.

The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate shows factory colors and equipment and indicates that the car was built on September 12, 1995, and dispatched to Land Rover Italia Spa – Military Sales.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other damage in a single March 2026 entry.
