This 1989 Aston Martin Lagonda is a Series 4 example that was initially delivered in Monaco, and it later spent time in Japan and the United Kingdom, where it was refurbished by Nicholas Mee & Company circa 2016. The car was then brought into the United Sates, and it was purchased by the seller six years ago. Finished in Royal Blue over a Magnolia leather interior, the car is powered by a 5.3-liter V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Additional equipment includes 16″ alloy wheels, fog lamps, a fixed rear sunroof, burl wood veneer interior trim, automatic climate control, digital instrumentation, and an Alpine CD stereo. The car was offered on BaT in July 2023, and maintenance since then has included rebuilding the alternator and addressing an oil leak. This Lagonda is now offered with service records and a Florida title in the seller’s name.

Restyled by the car’s original designer, William Towns, the Series 4 Lagonda is distinguished by a body-color grille surround, six fixed headlights, and a waterfall trunk lid above a narrow strip of taillights. The hand-built aluminum bodywork on this example is finished in Royal Blue. Signs of wear are noted by the seller, including aged weather seals, swirl marks in the paint, and stone chips.

Silver-finished 16″ alloy wheels wear Lagonda-branded centers and are mounted with 255/60 Avon Turbospeed CR27 tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs. Work performed in December 2022 by Demi Exotics of St. Petersburg, Florida, involved replacing the front wheel bearings as well as installing front outer tie rods with units that were reportedly sourced from a Volvo 240.

The front bucket seats and rear bench are upholstered in Magnolia leather that extends to the lower dashboard, center console, and door panels. Contrasting blue leather covers the upper dashboard, and burl wood veneers adorn the dash, center stack, and doors. Additional appointments include an Alpine CD stereo, automatic climate control, overhead directional lighting, and power windows, mirrors, and door locks. The seating leather is worn, and the wood veneer trim on the right-front door is cracked and partially delaminated.

The two-spoke steering wheel fronts digital instrumentation featuring a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline accompanied by a 160-mph speedometer and readouts for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer does not display a full reading in miles or kilometers. Total mileage is unknown.

The 5.3-liter DOHC V8 was equipped from the factory with Bosch fuel injection. An oil leak was addressed and the alternator was rebuilt in preparation for the sale. An oil change was performed in September 2024.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Chrysler TorqueFlite three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The transmission pan and gasket were replaced in June 2022.

There is no Carfax report available for the VIN shown above, which corresponds to the Florida title.
The Florida title lists the Odometer Status as “Exempt.”
