This 1962 Chevrolet Impala Sport Coupe was refurbished under previous ownership and acquired by the seller in 2024. It is powered by a 327ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and refinished in red over red. Equipment includes polished aluminum 15″ wheels, power steering, drum brakes, quad headlights, dual antennas, a center console, front bucket seats, a Hurst shifter, an aftermarket stereo, and a heater. Service under current ownership included replacing the exhaust system in 2025, followed by rebuilding the engine and replacing the clutch in 2026. This Impala is now offered with a clean Michigan title in the name of the seller’s LLC.

The car left the factory finished in Roman Red (923) and was repainted in red under prior ownership. Styling incorporates chrome bumpers as well as bright trim and headlight surrounds. Other features include SS badging, quad headlights, dual antennas, and a recessed tail panel.

Polished 15″ Eagle Alloys five-spoke aluminum wheels are mounted with 225/70 Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and stopping power is provided by drum brakes at all four corners.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench reupholstered in red cloth and vinyl. Interior equipment includes a center console, a Hurst shifter, vent windows, bright dashboard trim accents, manual-crank windows, a heater, and an aftermarket stereo.

The two-spoke steering wheel is mounted to a tilting column. Instrumentation consists of a 120-mph speedometer, gauges indicating coolant temperature and fuel level, and an Equus oil pressure gauge in place of the analog clock. The five-digit odometer shows 6k miles, approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The 327ci Turbo-Fire V8 is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor, and the seller tells us that a 2026 rebuild included rebuilding the “camelback” cylinder heads as well as installing a hydraulic roller camshaft, a Cloyes double-roller timing set, hardened pushrods, Assault Racing Products 1.6:1 roller-tip rocker arms, and Fel-Pro head gaskets. The alternator was also replaced in 2026.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The exhaust was replaced in 2025, and the clutch disc was replaced in 2026.
