This 1972 MGB roadster has been repainted in white over black vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 1.8-liter inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a black soft top, Minilite-style 14″ wheels, an earlier-style grille, a push-button aftermarket radio, dual SU carburetors, and a Bell stainless-steel exhaust system. The selling dealer acquired the vehicle in April 2026. This Mk III MGB is now offered at no reserve with a top boot, a tonneau cover, a car cover, and a California title.
The car was repainted in white under prior ownership. Lucas PL tri-bar headlamps and an earlier-style bright grille are fitted along with a black soft top, door-mounted mirrors, triple windshield wipers, side-marker lights, and chrome bumpers. Silver-finished Minilite-style 14″ eight-spoke wheels are mounted with 165HR14 Vredestein Sprint Classic tires that exhibit cracking. Braking is provided by front discs and rear drums. The seller notes that the suspension bushings have been replaced.
The cabin houses bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl that extends to the door panels. Interior appointments include a center console, a locking glovebox, a passenger-side map pocket, a heater, billet-style window cranks, and a push-button aftermarket radio. The headrests have been removed, and the passenger-side sun visor is missing.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation including a 120-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges displaying fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 78k miles, approximately 80 of which were added by the selling dealer.
The 18V 1.8-liter inline-four is equipped with twin SU carburetors and K&N open-element air filters. The seller indicates that the the oil cooler was replaced. The oil was changed in preparation for the sale. Teal paint is visible in the engine compartment, behind the seats around the battery, on the underside, and elsewhere on the car.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. A Bell stainless-steel exhaust system is fitted.
The California title bears a “Donation” stamp.
