1988 Ferrari 328 GTS

This 1988 Ferrari 328 is one of approximately 6,068 removable-top GTS examples produced, and it was previously sold on BaT in October 2024. The car is finished in Nero Metallizzato over Crema leather, and power is provided by a fuel-injected 3.2-liter V8 that received a timing belt service in 2020. Shifting is handled via a five-speed manual transaxle, and equipment includes a limited-slip differential, concave 16″ Speedline five-spoke alloy wheels, four-wheel ventilated disc brakes, a gated shifter, power windows, an aftermarket head unit, and R134a-based air conditioning. Acquired in 2026 by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, this 328 GTS is offered in New York at no reserve with a car cover, service records, manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Texas title.

The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Nero Metallizzato and features a removable black roof panel. Additional exterior details include pop-up headlights, integrated fog lights, side air intakes, dual side mirrors, a power antenna, a black spoiler mounted over the rear window, and quad exhaust tips exiting through the rear valance. The front bumper cover, hood grille, the right fender, and a door handle were refinished in November 2023.

Staggered-width concave 16″ Speedline five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Exalto tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted ventilated four-wheel discs. The steering rack mount bushings and boots were replaced in 2025.

The seats are trimmed in Crema leather and are complemented by color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Interior amenities include a gated shifter, power windows, an aftermarket head unit, a rear-window defroster, and an air conditioning system that has been converted to utilize R134a refrigerant. The passenger window motor was repaired in April 2023.

The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel is paired with a dogleg-pattern gated shifter and frames Veglia instrumentation consisting of a 180-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. Gauges for oil temperature and fuel level are mounted in the center of the dashboard along with an analog clock. The five-digit odometer shows 39k miles.

The mid-mounted 3.2-liter Type F105 V8 features Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and four valves per cylinder. Factory-rated output was 260 horsepower and 213 lb-ft of torque. A timing belt service was performed in October 2020, and concurrent work included replacing the drive belts, spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor, thermostat, fuel filter, and various gaskets and seals. The air conditioning compressor was replaced in 2021, the starter was rebuilt in 2024, and the oil pan gasket, battery, and distributor gasket were replaced in 2025.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The transaxle pan gasket and shifter bushings were replaced in 2025.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
