1971 Honda CT90 Trail at No Reserve

This 1971 Honda CT90 Trail was acquired by the selling dealer in 2026, reportedly from the estate of the prior owner. Subsequent service included cleaning the fuel tank and carburetor, changing the oil, and replacing the tubes, tires, battery, drive chain, and spark plug. Finished in yellow with grey accents, the bike is powered by a 89cc four-stroke single linked with a dual-range four-speed transmission with an automatic clutch and a heel/toe shifter. Equipment includes a kick starter, an upswept exhaust system, a chrome cargo rack, a solo seat, a quick-release swiveling handlebar, trail lighting, 17″ wire-spoke wheels, and center and side stands. This CT90 Trail is now offered at no reserve by the selling dealer with the owner’s manual and a clean Ohio title.

The bike is finished in yellow with a grey plastic center shroud and a black vinyl solo seat. Additional details include a chrome cargo rack, a chrome engine guard with integrated skid plate, trail lighting, twin chrome mirrors, folding passenger foot pegs, and both center and side stands. Imperfections are shown in the gallery.

The 17″ wire-spoke wheels are laced to hubs with drum brakes and were mounted with replacement tubes and 2.75″-wide Shinko tires by the selling dealer. Suspension is provided by a traditional fork with black gaiters and dual shrouded shocks mounted to a stamped-steel swingarm.

The chrome handlebar has a locking lever on the handlebar clamp, which allows rotation for storage and transportation. The headlight shell holds an 80-mph speedometer with denoted shift points for high and low ranges. The five-digit odometer shows 6k miles.

The four-stroke 89cc single is equipped with a kick starter, an upswept exhaust system with chrome perforated heat shields, and a snorkel air intake. Service in preparation for sale included cleaning the carburetor and fuel tank, replacing the battery and spark plug, and changing the oil.

Power is sent to the rear wheel through an automatic clutch, a four-speed transmission featuring high and low ranges and a heel/toe shifter, and a replacement drive chain.

An owner’s manual will accompany the bike.
