This 1968 Chevrolet Corvair Monza sport coupe was acquired by the seller in 2025 as an in-progress refurbishment project, which was completed in 2026. Work involved a repaint in blue, the replacement of body panels, a refresh of the blue interior, and an overhaul of the 164ci Turbo-Air flat-six. Shifting is through a two-speed Powerglide automatic transaxle, and the car has 13″ steel wheels with eight-spoke wheel covers. Additional details include front bucket seats, an AM radio, lap belts, a heater, and a windshield defroster. This Corvair Monza coupe is now offered with an owner’s manual, a binder of refurbishment photos, and a clean Massachusetts title in the seller’s name.

The car left the factory finished in Grotto Blue (D) and was repainted under previous ownership following the replacement of panels to repair damage to the rear of the car. Details include bright bumpers as well as quad headlights and taillights.

Steel 13″ wheels feature eight-spoke covers and are mounted with Dunlop SP40 A/S tires. The Corvair utilized a fully independent suspension, and stopping power is provided by front and rear drum brakes.

The front bucket seats and rear bench were recovered in blue vinyl under current ownership, and the cabin was outfitted with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Replacement floor pans were installed as part of the refurbishment work. Appointments include a heater, a windshield defroster, an AM radio, and lap belts. A seam on the headliner is separating.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a clock, and a fuel-level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 64k miles, approximately 250 of which were added under current ownership.

The rear-mounted, air-cooled 164ci Turbo-Air flat-six features two single-barrel carburetors and was factory rated at 95 horsepower and 154 lb-ft of torque. The seller notes that the carburetors have been rebuilt and that the pushrod tube gaskets have been replaced. An oil change was completed in preparation for the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a two-speed Powerglide automatic transaxle.
