This 1983 Jaguar XJ-S was acquired by the seller, the owner of Cascade Street Rod Specialties in Bend, Oregon, in April 2000, and it was equipped with an overbored, balanced, and blueprinted 454ci V8 in 2005. In 2017, a Tremec six-speed manual transmission was installed with a dual-disc clutch, the interior was reupholstered in Savile Grey in 2024, and it was repainted Forest Green in 2025. The car rides on 17” Niche Lucerne wheels over Power Slot disc brakes, and it also features MSD Atomic electronic fuel injection, a Be Cool aluminum radiator, Hedman Hedders exhaust manifolds, a 2-1/4″ dual exhaust system, a Positraction differential, a rear sway bar, and Gas-A-Just shocks as well as fog lights, hood vents, and an Alpine CD stereo. This 454-Powered XJ-S is now offered with service records, a car cover, a damage-free Carfax Report, and a clean Oregon title in the seller’s name.

The car left the factory in Sebring Red, and the seller tells us the front bumper cover, front fenders, hood, and grille were replaced after an accident under previous ownership. In August 2025, a repaint was performed in GM Forest Green, and gray and green pinstripes and custom decals were added. Exterior details include fog lights, a rear spoiler, and custom-fabricated hood vents. The Carfax report notes the vehicle was reported stolen in November 1991 and recovered in November 1992

Black-finished 17” Niche Lucerne wheels were installed in October 2017 and are mounted with Michelin Sport Pilot A/S 3+ tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with Power Slot rotors and pads that were fitted in May 2016. The car features a rear sway bar, KYB Gas-A-Just shocks, and urethane bushings for the control arm, sway bar, and steering rack. In August 2026, the steering rack input seal and lower control arm bushings were replaced, and the power steering fluid was flushed.

The cabin was outfitted with bucket seats, a rear bench, center console, and trim panels from a 1989 example in 2010, and they were reupholstered in Savile Grey in 2024, with replacement seat foam fitted at that time. The headliner was replaced in April 2026, and amenities include burl wood veneer accents, automatic climate control, and an Alpine CD stereo. The seller notes the odor of fuel in the trunk.

Instrumentation comprises a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer was reset during the 2005 engine installation and shows 67k miles.

The Chevrolet 454ci V8 was bored .030 over and fitted with a roller camshaft and lifter prior to being installed in 2005, and was machined, assembled, and balanced and blueprinted. The associated records shown in the gallery list the balancing reference number and assembly clearances. In 2012, it was outfitted with MSD Atomic electronic fuel injection components including a digital control module, distributor, and throttle body unit. The engine also features Hedman Hedders exhaust manifolds, a Be Cool aluminum radiator, an electric radiator fan, a Spectra Premium fuel pump, and a Powermaster Performance starter and alternator. The fuel tank was replaced in 2006. The starter relay was replaced in August 2026, and the oil was changed.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission that was installed in 2017 with a dual-disc clutch and a QuickTime bellhousing. The car is equipped with a 2-1/4″ dual exhaust system with Magnaflow mufflers that was fitted in June 2006 as well as a Positraction differential with 3.73:1 gearing installed in May 2016, and a Newhouse Manufacturing driveshaft.

Photos taken during the transmission installation are presented in the gallery below.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned theft and is free of accidents or other damage.
