This 1989 Kawasaki Ninja 600R is said to have been sold new in Minnesota and remained parked for a number of years until it was acquired by the seller in 2022. Work at that time included rebuilding the carburetors, repairing a leak in the radiator, performing a compression test, changing the oil and coolant, and replacing the battery, drive chain, tires, fuel sender, and fuel petcock, and the bike has remained stored sans fuel since 2023. It is equipped with a 592cc inline-four paired with a six-speed transmission and is finished in red with black stripes. Additional features include two-up seating, 16″ alloy wheels, individual clip-on-style handlebars, a four-into-two exhaust system, and both center and side stands. This ZX600-C2 is now offered at no reserve with an owner’s manual, service records, a clean Washington title in the seller’s name.

Red-finished 16″ alloy wheels with machined accents wear Bridgestone tires that show 2021 date codes. Suspension consists of an air-assisted anti-dive fork as well as a Uni-Trak adjustable monoshock. Braking is from dual discs up front and a single version out back.

Individual handlebars are mounted to the top triple clamp and frame a dash cluster containing a 160-mph speedometer, a fuel gauge, and a tachometer with an 11k-rpm redline. The five-digit odometer shows 11k miles, 50 of which have been ridden by the seller, who notes that the tachometer functions intermittently.

The 592cc inline-four was serviced in 2022 with work that included rebuilding the carburetors, repairing a leak in the radiator,  performing a compression test, changing the oil and coolant, and replacing the battery, drive chain, fuel sender, and fuel petcock. The bike was ridden after the work, and the fuel system was drained and the bike has been kept stored since 2023.

Power is sent to the rear wheel via a six-speed transmission and a drive chain.
