Pro Ref has admitted an “error of judgement” in awarding Erling Haaland’s winner during Man City’s 1-0 win over Man Utd. Haaland was onside, but City’s Enzo Fernández was offside and appeared to interfere with Lisandro Martínez. VAR should have recommended an on-field review. The goal stood, but the decision has now been officially acknowledged as an error.
