This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette split-window coupe was first delivered to Luby Chevrolet of Denver and is said to have spent over 50 years with its original owner prior. It underwent a body-off refurbishment between 2015 and 2017 and was acquired by the current owner in 2018. Powered by a rebuilt 327ci V8 linked to a four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction differential, the car is refinished in red over black vinyl upholstery. Equipment includes 15″ turbine-style wheels with three-eared knock-off spinners, power-assisted front disc brakes, power steering, a dual exhaust system, retractable headlights, an analog clock, and an AM/FM radio. This C2 split-window coupe is now offered on dealer consignment in New York with initial purchase documentation, an NCRS Shipping Data Report, refurbishment photos and records, and a clean Texas title.

The fiberglass body was finished at the factory in Riverside Red (923), and the body was separated from the frame and refinished during the aforementioned refurbishment. Features include flip-up headlamps, fender vents, quad tail lamps, chrome bumperettes, and dual exhaust tips that exit through the rear valance.

The 15″ turbine-style wheels wear three-eared knock-off spinners and are mounted with whitewall tires. Power steering and front disc brake conversions were completed, and suspension work involved rebuilding the trailing arm assemblies, replacing the front coil springs and A-arm bushings, and powder coating the A-arms, sway bar, and frame.

The bucket seats were fitted with replacement foam and black vinyl seat covers during the refurbishment. Additional work involved installing sound insulation and replacing the carpeting, headliner, center armrest, wiring harness, heater blower motor, window tracks, weatherstripping, and aluminum door sill plates. Amenities include an analog clock and an AM/FM radio.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,300-rpm redline as well as gauges for amperage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 64k miles, approximately 1,800 of which were added under current ownership.

The 327ci V8 is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor, and it received a replacement ignition coil, lower ignition shielding, and fuel pump during the refurbishment.

The engine stamp pad was re-stamped during the refurbishment, per the selling dealer.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction differential. A 2.5″ aluminized dual exhaust system is fitted.

Decoding the trim tag reveals:
