This 1964.5 Ford Mustang is an F-code 260 coupe that underwent a multi-year refurbishment under previous ownership before being acquired by the seller on BaT in August 2025. Work since that time has involved retrofitting 15″ Scott Drake wheels, installing an Edelbrock carburetor and a cabin heater, adjusting the valves, and replacing the power steering control valve, battery, coolant temperature sensor, fuel sending unit, rocker arms, various ignition components, tires, and front control arms. Finished in Vintage Burgundy over black vinyl, the car is powered by a 260ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Additional equipment includes power-assisted front disc brakes, a black vinyl roof, a center console, and a push-button AM radio. This Mustang coupe is now offered with receipts for work performed under current ownership and a clean Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.

The car was finished at the factory in Vintage Burgundy (X) and was repainted in 2023 under previous ownership as part of the aforementioned refurbishment. Polished rocker panel moldings have been added, and further details include a black vinyl roof, a left-side mirror, and chrome-finished bumpers.

The 15″ Scott Drake Legendary wheels were installed under current ownership and are wrapped in 225/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires. The power steering control valve and front control arms were replaced in December 2025. Braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.

The front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in black vinyl and are joined by replacement carpets. A heater box, core, and hoses were installed in December 2025, and a door hinge was repaired in 2026. A center console, a push-button radio, and wind-up windows are further elements.

The steering wheel fronts Rally Pac-style instruments flanked by a replacement dash bezel that houses a horizontal-sweep 120-mph speedometer and readouts for fuel and coolant temperature. The horn, along with the dimmer, headlight, and brake light switches, were replaced under current ownership. The five-digit odometer shows 18k miles, approximately 1k of which have been added under current ownership.

The 260ci V8 was factory rated at 164 horsepower. An Edelbrock carburetor was installed under current ownership, and additional work involved adjusting the valves and replacing the battery, coolant temperature sensor, fuel sending unit, rocker arms, spark plugs, and ignition condenser and points.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a C4 three-speed automatic transmission and a rear axle with 3.00:1 gears. A transmission fluid leak was repaired in 2026.
