2001 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro 5-Speed at No Reserve

This 2001 Audi A4 was registered in California before it was acquired by the seller on BaT in February 2025, and it now has 72k miles. Powered by a 2.8-liter V6, the car was optioned with a five-speed manual transaxle in addition to the Premium, Sport, and Audio packages. Finished in Brilliant Black over Onyx leather upholstery, it is further equipped with a power sunroof, 17″ nine-spoke alloy wheels, a sport suspension, a Bose sound system, heated power-adjustable front sport seats, wood interior trim, a CD/cassette stereo, and xenon headlights with washers. Following the seller’s purchase, the car was retrofitted with a Bluetooth module, fluid changes were performed, and the air filter, battery, headliner, and tires were replaced. This A4 is now offered at no reserve with an accident-free Carfax report and a New York title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Brilliant Black (LY9B) and has xenon headlights with washers as well as a power sunroof, bright trim, fog lights, and dual exhaust outlets. The seller tells us that a ceramic coating was applied to the exterior under current ownership. Paint chips are located on the front end, and additional photos of the paint and trim condition are viewable in the gallery below.

The 17″ nine-spoke alloy wheels were mounted with 225/45 Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires under current ownership. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs, and the car is equipped with a sport suspension. A brake fluid flush was performed under current ownership. Curb marks are visible on the right front and left rear wheels.

The heated power-adjustable front sport seats and the split-folding rear bench are upholstered in Onyx leather. Amenities include a Bose sound system, cruise control, and automatic climate control. The seller tells us that the headliner was replaced under current ownership, and the Audi Symphony CD/cassette stereo has been retrofitted with a Bluetooth module. A hands-free phone microphone has also been added.

A leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil temperature, coolant temperature, fuel level, and voltage. The digital odometer indicates 72k miles, approximately 4k of which were added under current ownership. Pixel damage is noted on the instrument cluster display.

The 2.8-liter V6 was factory rated at 190 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque. Records in the gallery of the last auction indicate the timing belt was most recently changed at approximately 53k miles in 2012, and a new main seal was installed in 2022. The seller tells us that maintenance under current ownership included an oil change, flushing the coolant, and replacing the air filter and battery.

Power is routed to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a Quattro all-wheel-drive system with a Torsen center differential. The clutch and flywheel were replaced in 2022.

The Carfax report lists at least one open recall.

The New York title for the car lists an “Exempt Vehicle Over 10 Years Old” odometer reading.
