2006 Mini Cooper S Checkmate JCW 6-Speed

This 2006 Mini Cooper S is a Checkmate Edition that is powered by a supercharged 1.6-liter inline-four linked to a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential and is finished in Space Blue over Solar Blue leather and gray cloth upholstery. The car spent time in Arizona and Washington state before the seller’s purchase in 2025, and it now has 41k miles. Additional equipment includes the John Cooper Works Tuning Kit, the Cold Weather Package, the Convenience Package, the Sport Package, 17” Flame Spoke wheels, xenon headlights, heated front seats, a Harman Kardon sound system, and air conditioning. This R53 Cooper S is now offered with the owner’s manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Space Blue with a silver roof and pure silver hood stripes and features checkered flag fender graphics, xenon headlights, fog lights, silver mirror caps, a hood scoop, a roof spoiler, and twin center-exit exhaust outlets. The windshield and lower front lip were replaced in July 2026, and the left-front side marker was replaced under current ownership. Rock chips and other front-end blemishes are noted.

The 17” Flame Spoke wheels are mounted with 205/45 Continental ExtremeContact Sport O2 tires. Stopping power is provided by anti-lock disc brakes at all four corners. The car is equipped with Dynamic Stability Control.

The cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in Solar Blue leather with gray cloth inserts. Equipment includes heated front seats, a Harman Kardon sound system, cruise control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and air conditioning. The cabin air filter was replaced in August 2026. A stain is present on the inner surface of the driver-side sun visor.

Instrumentation includes a column-mounted 8k-rpm tachometer and a central instrument cluster with a 150-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 41k miles.

The supercharged 1.6-liter inline-four is fitted with the John Cooper Works tuning kit, which included re-mapped engine management software and an upgraded cylinder head, supercharger pulley, air intake, and fuel injectors when compared with the standard Cooper S. The engine air filter was replaced in preparation for the sale. The coolant expansion tank and accessory belt show signs of aging.

Power is sent to the front wheels through a Getrag six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
