2018 Polaris Slingshot SL 4-Wheel Conversion

This 2018 Polaris Slingshot SL was purchased by the current owner in 2022 and was subsequently modified with a DDMWorks four-wheel conversion incorporating a rear differential. The vehicle is finished in blue and black over black cloth and vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 2.4-liter GM Ecotec inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes 20″ Vossen alloy wheels, QA1 coilovers, a black top, a clear windscreen, a Bluetooth stereo, and navigation. This modified Slingshot is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with a clean Florida title in the owner’s name.

The bodywork is finished in blue and black, and features include a clear windscreen, roll hoops, a black top, LED lighting, and mirrors.

The 20″ Vossen alloy wheels are mounted with 255/35 Nitto tires. The vehicle has disc brakes and QA1 coilovers at all four wheels and features speed-sensitive power steering, traction control, and cruise control.

The side-by-side bolstered bucket seats are trimmed in black cloth and vinyl upholstery. The cockpit also features two cupholders, storage cubbies behind the seats, a glove box, and a central screen with audio, navigation, and vehicle systems controls.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a tachometer with a 6,200-rpm redline as well as a 120-mph/220-kph speedometer with a built-in digital screen that displays fuel level, time of day, and an odometer that indicates 7,300 miles. Approximately 4k miles were added under current ownership.

The GM Ecotec 2.4-liter inline-four was factory rated at 173 horsepower and 166 lb-ft of torque and features an aluminum valve cover, dual overhead cams, variable valve timing, and an exposed air filter.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission and a differential that was fitted as part of the four-wheel conversion.

The Carfax report notes a collision in March 2022 that resulted in damage to the front-right of the vehicle as well as the undercarriage.
