Custom 2021 Ford E-450 – varios testes

This 2021 Ford E-450 was outfitted with delivery van bodywork by Utilimaster, and it was delivered new to a FedEx contract company. It was purchased by the seller in 2023 and underwent a build that included a repaint in gray, the installation of rear barn doors, and outfitting the interior with custom front and rear cabin appointments. Power comes from a 7.3-liter V8 mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, and equipment includes a dually rear axle, 19.5″ NorthStar aluminum wheels, LED exterior lighting, a rear-mounted 7′ motorized awning, fold-down rear steps, roof-mounted solar panels, and a wi-fi antenna. The forward cabin features black and gray-trimmed Sparco seats with multi-point harnesses as well as a Kenwood head-up display with navigation, air conditioning, a custom stereo, and an in-truck radio system. The insulated rear cabin houses white-painted aluminum wall panels and a black-finished work bench and cabinets as well as LED overhead and cabinet lighting, AC-powered GFI outlets, and a wall-mounted universal track system. Additional equipment includes an air compressor, a 30-amp shore power connector with a built-in surge protector, a 3,000-watt power inverter, an AC breaker panel, and an onboard battery charger and conditioner. This custom E-450 has 69k miles, and it is now offered with owner’s manuals, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Georgia title in the seller’s name describing the vehicle as a Ford Econoline Truck.

The bodywork underwent a color-change from white to gray under the seller’s ownership. Rear barn doors were installed along with chrome Texas-style bumpers with inset LED daytime-running lights, LED headlights and taillights, and towing-style mirrors. Additional equipment includes a clamshell hood, airhorns, a 30-amp shore power connector with a built-in surge protector, a rear-mounted 7′ motorized awning, and fold-down rear steps. The truck is equipped with an onboard air compressor with a five-gallon stainless steel tank, and the nozzle exits next to the left taillight. A 400-watt solar array is mounted on the roof along with a Winegard 2.0 wi-fi antenna.

The 19.5″ NorthStar aluminum wheels were mounted with 225/70 front and 255/70 rear Toyo M143 tires under the seller’s ownership. An overhaul of the suspension performed in August 2024 included replacing the steering stabilizer, front sway bar bushings and links, rear shocks, ball joints, tie rod ends, and draglinks. Stopping is handled by ventilated discs at all four corners.

During the build, the forward cabin was outfitted with a custom dash panel, polished aluminum floor and engine cover panels, and gray quilted insulation panels. Sparco R100 seats trimmed in black and gray are fitted along with red multi-point harnesses, and additional equipment includes the following:

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a factory 120-mph speedometer a 6k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges as well as a Sinco Tech digital speedometer, tachometer, and a battery charge gauge. The seller notes that sensors for the water temperature, oil pressure, and transmission temperature gauges are not installed. The digital odometer shows 69k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under the seller’s ownership.

The rear cabin was outfitted with 3″ rock wool insulation, welded 1″ tubular aluminum wall framing, and 0.030″ aluminum panels finished in white, and gray rubber coin flooring during the build. An aluminum work bench and storage cabinets finished in black line the right-side wall, and an inward-facing bench trimmed in gray cloth is mounted opposite. Additional equipment includes LED overhead and cabinet lighting, AC-powered GFI outlets, and a wall-mounted universal track system.
