Customized 2018 Harley-Davidson Road King by Paul Yaffe at No Reserve

This 2018 Harley-Davidson Road King was modified by Paul Yaffe—custom motorcycle builder and owner of Paul Yaffe Originals and Paul Yaffe’s Bagger Nation—as a personal bike to ride to the 2019 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, and it was acquired by the seller in 2020. The build involved applying Savage Steel Cerakote accents to the engine, Vivid Black bodywork, hand controls, and ancillary components as well as installing a Softail-sourced digital dashboard, a La Pera gel sport seat, Legend Suspension components, and Paul Yaffe Originals components including a custom headlight nacelle, a Monkey Sport handlebar, a Collector Series exhaust system, a front big brake kit, Shredder wheels, fenders, LED lighting, a Swoop chin scoop and saddlebags, and more as described below. Power is provided by an air-cooled 107ci V-twin paired with a six-speed transmission, and additional features include a drive belt, a windscreen, cruise control, a Harley-Davidson pop-up fuel cap, fuel tank knee scallops, Arlen Ness footboards, and a side stand. This customized FLHR indicates 1,800 miles and is offered at no reserve with a clean New Hampshire title in the seller’s name.

The motorcycle left the factory finished in Vivid Black, and received Savage Steel Cerakote accents, Paul Yaffe’s Bagger Nation graphics, and Steam Roller Touring (SRT) lettering as part of the build. Paul Yaffe Originals components include the Thicky front fender, custom-fabricated headlight nacelle and tank-top console, Never Night LED headlight, Lightning Bullets front daytime running lights (DRLs) and turn signals, and Lighting Bolt LED taillights as well as the Swoop chin scoop, rear fender, and lined saddlebags. The La Pera black leather-upholstered gel sport seat has a provision for a removable rider backrest, the right saddlebag has dual USB ports and a pocket sized for a smartphone, and the fuel tank features custom knee scallops and a Harley-Davidson pop-up filler cap on the right. Additional details include a windscreen, cruise control, Arlen Ness rider and passenger footboards, and a side stand.

Paul Yaffe Originals Shredder wheels measuring 20″ up front and 18″ out back are finished in Savage Stainless Cerakote and mounted with Shinko tires. The 49mm Showa fork has been modified with shaved lowers, Legend Suspension AXEO cartridges, and Paul Yaffe Originals Speedfreak slider covers, while the swingarm is damped by a pair of Legend Suspension REVO shocks. The front end has been modified with a Paul Yaffe Originals front big brake kit with a 15″ floating rotor, and the rear disc brake retains its factory four-piston caliper and drilled 300mm rotor.

The black-finished Paul Yaffe Originals Monkey Sport handlebar carries Savage Stainless Cerakote-finished control housings, hand levers, and Paul Yaffe Originals mirrors, and it is mounted aft of a Softail-sourced digital dashboard. The digital odometer indicates 1,800 miles. The fuel-level gauge in the dashboard is inoperative, though the left-side dummy filler cap has an integrated digital fuel-level readout.

The air-cooled 107ci Milwaukee-Eight V-twin wears a Savage Stainless Cerakote finish on the case covers, aftermarket air cleaner assembly, and pushrod tubes. A black-finished Paul Yaffe Originals Collector Series exhaust system was installed as part of the build. The battery was changed in 2025.

Power is routed to the rear wheel through an Assist and Slip clutch, a six-speed Cruise Drive transmission, and a drive belt.
