Modified 1992 Nissan Skyline GT-R

This 1992 Nissan Skyline GT-R was repainted white and modified with a Trust GReddy six-speed H-pattern dogbox manual transmission with straight-cut gears, Tien coilovers, Brembo brakes, and 18″ BBS wheels before being imported to the US from Japan by the current owner in 2017. The RB26DETT was rebuilt, fitted with a single turbocharger, and increased in displacement to 2.8-liters in 2020, and additional work since then has involved installing a Haltech Elite ECU, a Walbro fuel pump, Platinum Racing Products R35 coil packs, and an Exedy twin-disc clutch. The car is equipped with a limited-slip rear differential, an ATTESA all-wheel-drive system, an aftermarket front bumper, a rear wing, a rear window wiper, Super HICAS four-wheel steering, Recaro seats, a CD changer, a touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, aftermarket gauges, and air conditioning. This R32 is now offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner in California with the owner’s manual, service records, and Vermont registration in the owner’s name.

Finished from the factory in Black Pearl Metallic, the car was repainted white under prior ownership in Japan. An aftermarket front bumper with a lip spoiler has been installed and V-Spec II badging has been applied to the decklid. Exterior features include a front spoiler, a rear wing, a rear window wiper, heated power-adjustable side mirrors, and an aluminum hood and front panels.

The 18” BBS wheels are mounted with Yokohama Advan tires measuring 265/35. The car was factory equipped with a four-wheel independent multilink suspension as well as Super HICAS four-wheel steering. Stopping power is provided by ventilated R34-specification Brembo discs at each corner. Tien coilovers and Nismo suspension links were installed in Japan, and a NISMO front strut tower brace has been added.

The right-hand-drive cabin has been fitted with Recaro seats trimmed in black cloth with patterned inserts. Additional modifications include MOMO pedals, a Kenwood head unit, a Kenwood CD changer, Kenwood speakers, a touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, a Blitz digital boost controller, and a MOMO shift knob.

The MOMO Nero steering wheel fronts white NISMO-branded gauges, including a 320-km/h speedometer, an 11k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary Defi and Innovative Motorsports gauges, including in the center stack as well as on the instrument hood, steering column, and A-pillar. The replacement six-digit odometer shows 33k kilometers (~21k miles), and the seller believes that the total mileage is approximately 90k kilometers (~56k miles).

The twin-turbocharged RB26DETT was rebuilt by TEM Performance Shop of Napa, California, in 2020, at which time it was increased in displacement to 2.8-liters using Ross Racing forged pistons and a 77.7mm Callies stroker crankshaft. An HKS single turbocharger was also installed along with ARP head studs, manganese valve guides, an HKS head gasket set and timing belt, an HKS intercooler, a NISMO oil cooler, and Injector Dynamics 1050IDX fuel injectors. A Haltech Elite 2500 ECU was installed in 2021, and a Walbro fuel pump and Platinum Racing Products R35 ignition coils were added in 2023.

Power is routed to all four wheels through a Trust GReddy six-speed H-pattern dogbox transmission with straight-cut gears and an ATTESA all-wheel-drive system with a limited-slip rear differential. An Exedy twin-disc clutch was installed in preparation for the sale. An HKS exhaust system and NISMO catalytic converter are fitted.
