This 1986 Suzuki GSX-R750 Limited Edition is one of a reported 500 examples produced, with 199 allocated to the US market to homologate the model for AMA Superbike racing. It was purchased by its current owner in 2023, reportedly from the original owner, and now shows 4,900 miles. Edition-specific equipment includes lightweight bodywork in blue, red, and white along with a dry clutch, a close-ratio six-speed transmission, a steering damper, a blue solo seat, and revised suspension and braking components. Power is provided by an air-cooled 749cc DOHC inline-four, and the bike is further equipped with blue-finished 18″ wheels, a New Electronically Activated Suspension (NEAS) anti-dive fork, and triple disc brakes with gold-finished calipers along with an aluminum frame, Mikuni carburetors, clip-on handlebars, a clear windscreen, and a side stand. This GSX-R750 LE is offered by the seller on behalf of its owner with an owner’s manual, parts receipts, and a clean California title in the owner’s name.

The fully faired bodywork was lightened for the Limited Edition models, and the non-JDM examples were finished in a red, blue, and white livery. Additional details include an aluminum twin-spar frame, dual round headlights, a blue solo seat, a clear integrated windscreen, and a side stand.

Blue-finished 18″ alloy wheels are mounted with Bridgestone Battlax Sport Touring T32 tires produced in 2022. Adjustable suspension consists of a 41mm fork with Suzuki’s New Electrically Activated Suspension (NEAS) anti-dive system as well as a remote-reservoir monoshock connected to the swingarm via a Full Floater linkage. Braking is provided by dual four-piston calipers and 310mm rotors up front, along with a two-piston caliper and a 220mm rotor out back, and braided stainless-steel lines are fitted up front. The fork was overhauled, the brake master cylinders and front calipers were rebuilt, and replacement brake lines were fitted under current ownership.

Clip-on handlebars are secured below the upper triple clamp, and the bike is equipped with a steering damper. White-dial Nippon Denso instrumentation ahead consists of a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an 11k-rpm redline in addition to a row of indicator lights. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 4,900 miles, approximately 100 of which were ridden under current ownership.

The air-cooled 749cc DOHC inline-four is equipped with four Mikuni carburetors, electronic ignition, and a four-into-one exhaust system fitted with what is said to be a JDM muffler. Reported work under current ownership has included cleaning the carburetors and fitting them with a Dynojet jet kit as well as changing the oil and replacing the battery.

Power is routed to the rear wheel through a close-ratio six-speed transmission, a dry clutch, and a gold-finished drive chain. The seller notes that the chain was installed under current ownership.
