This 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT is finished in white over gray cloth and is powered by a 2.8-liter V6 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. A short-throw shifter has been installed, and additional equipment includes pop-up headlights, a removable sunroof, a rear spoiler, black-finished 15″ diamond-spoke wheels, a Boss head unit, power windows, and air conditioning. The car shows 78k miles, and it was purchased by the seller in October 2022. Service since that time has included installing stainless-steel brake and vacuum lines, overhauling the brakes and air conditioning system, and replacing coolant lines as well as the clutch slave cylinder. This Fiero GT is now offered with the owner’s manual, shop manuals, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Washington title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in white, and exterior features include a removable sunroof, a rear spoiler, an asymmetrical quarter-panel vent, a vented engine lid, and pop-up headlights. Photos showing scratches and finish imperfections are included in the gallery.

Black-finished 15″ diamond-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with a mix of General and Caldera tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted disc brakes at all four corners. Brake work in 2023 is said to have included rebuilding the calipers, installing stainless-steel lines, and replacing the rotors.

The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in gray cloth along with color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Interior appointments include cruise control, power windows, and power locks. A short-throw shifter and a Boss head unit have been added. The console frame was replaced in 2023, and the air conditioning evaporator, compressor, and belt were replaced and the system was recharged earlier this year. The cruise control system does not work, and the seller notes cigarette stains in the ashtray.

The tilting steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer and a 6,500-rpm tachometer as well as gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, voltage, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 78k miles, approximately 3,500 of which were added under current ownership.

The mid-mounted 2.8-liter L44 V6 was factory rated at 135 horsepower and 165 lb-ft of torque. Stainless-steel vacuum lines were installed and coolant lines were replaced in 2023. One of the intake manifold bolts is missing.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. The clutch slave cylinder was replaced in 2023.

The Carfax report is free from accidents or other reported damage from an initial update in June 1997.

The current Washington title carries an “Exempt” odometer status.
