This 1992 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.3 remained registered in California and Washington until the current owner’s purchase in 2022. Powered by a 2.3-liter inline-four mated to a four-speed automatic transmission, it is finished in Smoke Silver Metallic over Cream Beige MB-Tex upholstery. Equipment includes 15″ Gullideckel wheels, power-adjustable front bucket seats, central locking, an Alpine stereo, automatic climate control, and cruise control. Since 2022, the water pump, radiator, spark plugs and wires, tires, and more are said to have been replaced. This W201 is offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner with a damage-free Carfax report and an Illinois title in the owner’s name.

This example is finished in Smoke Silver Metallic (702) with black bumper trim. Equipment includes halogen headlights, fog lights, deep-ribbed taillights, asymmetrical side mirrors, and a single panoramic windshield wiper. Paint correction was performed, and paint touch-ups were applied in 2026.

The silver-finished 15″ Gullideckel wheels are fitted with Pirelli tires that were recently mounted. The car features a MacPherson strut front and five-link rear suspension with coil springs at each corner, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes. The ball joints, tie rods, and sway bar links were replaced in 2022, per the seller.

The cabin features power-adjustable front bucket seats upholstered in Cream Beige MB-Tex, and Zebrano wood trim accents the center stack and console. Amenities include central locking, power windows, an Alpine stereo, aftermarket rear speakers, automatic climate control, and cruise control.

The four-spoke airbag steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer with an inset analog clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 69k miles, approximately 15k of which were added under current ownership. The trip odometer does not work, and the Carfax report lists a potential odometer rollback in August 2025.

Power is provided by a 2.3-liter SOHC inline-four that was factory rated at 130 horsepower and 146 lb-ft of torque. Work completed since 2022 is said to have included replacing the water pump, fuel pump, radiator, air conditioning compressor, spark plugs and wires, and drive belt and tensioner.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. The driveshaft flex disc was replaced in 2026.
