This 1994 Dodge Viper RT/10 is a US-market car that remained registered in California prior to being imported into Canada in July 2008. It has been refinished in blue, and it is equipped with a removable hardtop, an aftermarket rear spoiler, and 18″ five-spoke wheels. Power is supplied by an 8.0-liter V10 paired with a six-speed manual transmission, and additional features include a limited-slip differential, removable windows, power steering, and ventilated disc brakes as well as an aftermarket shift knob, head unit, and door speakers. The car was purchased by the seller’s father circa 2010, and it is currently owned by the seller’s mother. This Viper shows 64k miles and is now offered in Canada by the seller on behalf of the owner with a car cover and Ontario registration.

The first-generation Viper was designed in-house at Chrysler by Tom Gale and utilizes composite body panels over a tubular steel space-frame chassis. This example left the factory finished in Viper Red and was repainted in blue under prior ownership. An aftermarket rear spoiler and windows have been added, and additional features include fog lights, a removable hardtop, a forward-opening clamshell hood, and side-exit exhaust outlets. The Gen 2-spec 18″ five-spoke wheels feature are mounted with older Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The RT/10 is equipped with power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering, four-wheel independent suspension, and four-wheel vented disc brakes with RT/10-branded calipers up front. 1994 models were not equipped with ABS.

The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in black leather with a matching dashboard, center console, and door panels. An aftermarket head unit, shift knob, door speakers, and brake and clutch pedal covers have been added.

The three-spoke steering wheel is wrapped in blue leather and frames a 180-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline. Auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage are mounted atop the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 64k miles. The Carfax report lists a potential odometer rollback in a July 2008 entry.

The 8.0-liter OHV V10 was factory rated at 400 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec T-56 six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The valve-cover paint is chipped. The seller tells us that the car has remained in storage for about five years, and a video demonstrating start-up is included below.

The Carfax report shows the aforementioned potential odometer rollback.

The vehicle is being sold on its Ontario registration, which serves as the ownership document in Ontario, Canada. The registration carries an “unplated” notation.
