This 2008 BMW M5 was traded in by its original owner in 2015 and purchased by the seller in November of that year, and it is powered by a 5.0-liter V10 that has been modified with an Evolve Automotive ECU tune and intake system, an Active Autowerke underdrive pulley kit, and an Eisenmann exhaust system. Finished in Space Gray Metallic over black Merino leather, the car is equipped with a six-speed manual transmission, an M Variable differential, adaptive bi-xenon headlights, a carbon-fiber hood, a glass sunroof, Park Distance Control, 19″ Style 166 wheels, H&R suspension springs, and iDrive with navigation along with heated front seats, Comfort Access keyless entry, dual-zone automatic climate control, a rear-seat entertainment system, and cruise control. The connecting-rod bearings were replaced in 2023, and the VANOS solenoids were replaced in 2026. This E60 M5 has 59k miles and is offered with service records, spare parts, a Carfax report, and a clean Wisconsin title in the seller’s name.

The M5 features flared fenders and rocker panels as well as revised bumper covers, front fender vents, and quad exhaust outlets when compared to the standard E60. This example is finished in Space Gray Metallic (A52) and has been modified with F10 M5-style grilles, a Vorsteiner carbon-fiber hood, and matte-black vinyl on the roof. Other exterior details include a glass sunroof, a rear spoiler, adaptive bi-xenon headlamps with washers, and Park Distance Control sensors. The hood, front bumper cover, and front fenders were repainted in 2020 to address chipped paint, the trunk lid was repainted in 2026, and the rear bumper cover was replaced following impact in a drive-through line. An August 2021 entry on the Carfax report mentions minor damage to the right side of the car, which the seller states was caused by a fallen basketball hoop. A carbon-fiber front splitter has been removed, and mounting holes remain in the underside of the bumper cover. A stone chip on the hood is noted, and a scratch on the left-rear door is shown in the gallery.

Refinished 19″ Style 166 wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. H&R suspension springs have been fitted, and braking is handled by four-wheel cross-drilled and ventilated discs. The ABS/DSC unit was repaired in 2023, and it has been coded to allow traction control to be turned off.

The heated power-adjustable front seats, along with the rear bench, are upholstered in black Merino leather. Walnut Madeira wood trim accents the cabin, which is further appointed with dual-zone automatic climate control, Comfort Access keyless entry, cruise control, a Harman Kardon sound system, a six-disc CD changer, and iDrive with navigation in addition to a power rear sunshade and rear-seat entertainment screens. The trunk light occasionally comes loose from its bracket.

The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel features tri-color stitching and frames a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a variable redline, and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 59k miles, approximately 13k of which were added under current ownership. The indicator for a burned-out bulb remains illuminated and is said to be caused by aftermarket LED license-plate bulbs.

The 5.0-liter S85 V10 features a semi-dry-sump lubrication system, individual throttle bodies, and double-VANOS variable valve timing, and it has been modified with an Evolve Automotive 93-octane ECU tune and carbon-fiber intake system as well as an Active Autowerke underdrive pulley kit and Race Precision Inc. intake scoops. Service in 2023 included replacing the connecting-rod bearings with units from BE Bearings and fitting ARP rod bolts along with replacing the following components:
- Oil-pan and level-sensor gaskets
- Secondary oil-pump gasket
- VANOS oil-supply line
- Intake throttle hose
- Thermostat and gasket
- Radiator outlet-temperature sensor
- Spark plugs
- Ignition coil (one)
- Accessory belts
A replacement battery was installed in 2025, and the VANOS solenoids were replaced the following year. Cylinder-compression measurements were taken at that time and noted on the associated service record viewable in the gallery.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and an M Variable differential. The differential fluid was changed in 2023, after the pinion seal was replaced. An Eisenmann exhaust system is said to be in place.
The Carfax report notes the aforementioned 2021 damage.
