This 2008 Porsche Boxster RS 60 Spyder is #417 of 1,960 examples produced to commemorate Porsche’s 1960 victory at the 12 Hours of Sebring. All of these cars were finished in GT Silver Metallic over Carrera Red Natural leather, and other details include the Sport Chrono Package, a replacement black soft top, 19″ SportDesign wheels, a revised sports exhaust, and heated Sport seats. Power is provided by a 3.4-liter flat-six linked with a six-speed manual transaxle. The seller purchased the car in 2021 and has since added approximately 7k of the 51k indicated miles. This 987.1 Boxster RS 60 Spyder is now offered with the owner’s manual and an Ohio title in the seller’s name.

All RS 60 models were finished in GT Silver Metallic (M7Z), and this example is equipped with a power-operated black convertible top that the seller states has been replaced. Additional equipment includes a SportDesign front lower valance, a deployable rear spoiler, bi-xenon headlights, a gloss black windshield surround, body-color roll bars, and auto-dimming mirrors with a rain sensor. The Carfax report notes “minor damage” to an unspecified area in June 2017, and no additional information is provided. The windshield seal has cracks, stone chips can be seen up front, and the left door has adhesive residue and blemishes.

Silver-finished 19″ SportDesign wheels were fitted with 5mm spacers from the factory, and Continental ExtremeContact Sport 02 tires were installed in May 2025, according to the seller. Porsche Stability Management (PSM) and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) were standard equipment. Braking is handled by four-piston red Porsche-branded calipers over cross-drilled rotors measuring 12.5″ and 11.8″ front and rear, respectively. Brake work was reportedly performed in 2025.

Heated Sport bucket seats upholstered in Carrera Red Natural leather are bisected by a body-color center console. Leather trims the dashboard and door panels, and amenities include cruise control, a CD stereo, and automatic climate control. A serialized plate on the glovebox door denotes the car as #417 of 1,960 RS 60 Spyders produced. The seller notes cracks in the seat upholstery, and red tape has been applied to the driver’s seat outer bolster. The leather on the shifter is discolored.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a hoodless instrument cluster housing a central 8k-rpm tachometer, a 190-mph speedometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The Sport Chrono Package added a stopwatch atop the dash. The digital odometer indicates 51k miles, approximately 7k of which were added under current ownership.

The mid-mounted 3.4L flat-six is located ahead of the rear cargo area and was factory rated at 303 horsepower and 251 lb-ft of torque.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. The RS 60 Spyder featured a revised sports exhaust system from the factory.
