This single-sided Alfa Romeo sign features a Masonite panel that the seller believes dates to the 1960s, a metal support structure with mounting tabs, and neon tubes powered by a 120-volt cord. The sign measures approximately 56″ in diameter by 5″ deep and is secured within a wooden shipping pallet. It is offered at no reserve in Idalou, Texas.

Alfa Romeo was founded in Milan, Italy, and built its first car there in 1910. The company logo incorporates a red cross on a white background and a serpent devouring a man, both of which represent Milan. The cross is a symbol of the city, while the serpent is said to derive from the crest of the Milanese Visconti family. “Milano” was dropped from the logo in 1972.
