This 1995 BMW 850Ci was modified under previous ownership for display at the 2021 SEMA show. It is finished in Cosmos Black Metallic over red leather and features a Pandem widebody kit, an air suspension system, Brembo brakes, and 19″ BC Forged wheels. Power is provided by a 5.4-liter V12 linked to a five-speed automatic transmission, and additional highlights include a Supersprint exhaust system, M-Technic mirrors, and a custom sound system. The car was sold on BaT in March 2025 and was acquired by the seller shortly thereafter. This modified E31 has 177k miles and is now offered with a Carfax report and a clean Connecticut title in the seller’s name.

The pillarless coupe was repainted its factory shade of Cosmos Black Metallic after being fitted with a Pandem widebody kit, which incorporates fender flares, revised side skirts and bumpers, and a rear lip spoiler. Tint has been applied to the windows, and windshield protection film has also been added in addition to M-Technic mirrors. The Carfax report shows “minor damage” to the rear of the car in September 2013. The driver’s side headlight intermittently does not pop up, the left reverse light is nonfunctional, and the sunroof tilts, but does not open.

Bronze-finished 19″ BC Forged MLE10 wheels are mounted with Toyo Proxes R888R tires. Brembo brakes with GTS two-piece rotors have been added along with a Grinds Air Ride Management system that incorporates dual air tanks in the trunk. A front strut tower brace spans the engine bay. The rear axle boots are torn. The seller notes that the front air lines were replaced under current ownership.

The cabin features front seats and contoured rear seats that have been re-trimmed in red leather along with two-tone gray and red door panels and gray carpets. The BMW cassette stereo is wired to a CD changer along with a Kicker equalizer, amplifier, and 12″ subwoofer. An M-Sport steering wheel, manual-style shift knob, and pedals have been added, and a fire extinguisher is mounted in the passenger footwell. The air conditioning does not blow cold, the passenger seat does not recline, and the headliner is loose in some areas.

Instrumentation includes a 190-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 177k miles, a handful of which were added under current ownership. The airbag light is illuminated.

The 5.4-liter M73B54 V12 sends power to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. Work performed between 2021 and 2023 included rebuilding the general module and EKM module as well as replacing the secondary air injection pump, crankcase vent valves, spark plugs, valve cover gaskets, intake manifold gaskets, cylinder head bolts, batteries, air conditioning auxiliary fan, and engine mounts. The seller notes that work under current ownership included an oil change and replacement of the fuel lines.

A Supersprint exhaust system that incorporates headers and an X-pipe was installed in 2022.

The Carfax report notes the aforementioned damage.
