This 1992 Porsche 911 Carrera RS is a Guards Red French-market example that spent time in the UK before it was brought to the US in 2023. Its M64/03 flat-six has been rebuilt to displace 3.8 liters and features revised camshafts and a headers-back Cargraphic exhaust system. The fixed-back Recaro bucket seats are trimmed in Black and Gray multi-tone leather, and equipment includes a five-speed manual transaxle, a seam-welded chassis, a limited-slip differential, an aluminum front trunk lid, a speed-activated rear spoiler, brake ducts, magnesium 17″ Cup wheels, and adjustable Bilstein coilovers. This 964 911 Carrera RS was listed on BaT in April 2025 by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, and is now offered again with service records, a damage-free Carfax report, and a Florida title.

The Carrera RS was reintroduced with the 964 chassis and featured a seam-welded bodyshell as well as an aluminum front trunk lid, rolled fenders, and thinner side and rear window glass than that used on the standard Carrera.

This example was finished from the factory in Guards Red (L80K) and was repainted under prior ownership. Brake cooling ducts have been fitted in lieu of faux fog lamps.

Magnesium 17″ Cup wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The Carrera RS features a lowered and stiffened suspension with Bilstein coilovers as well as adjustable front and rear sway bars. Stopping power is provided by an anti-lock system featuring four-piston calipers over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. The rear left caliper is said to have been replaced in 2025.

The fixed-back Recaro bucket seats are trimmed in Black and Gray multi-tone leather. The car was delivered from the factory without airbags, air conditioning, carpeting, or sound-deadening material, and it is equipped with roll-up windows and door pull straps.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central tachometer, a 300-km/h speedometer, a clock, and gauges for fuel level, oil level, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 61k kilometers (~38k miles), and a mileage inconsistency is noted on the Carfax report. The speedometer was repaired in July 2019.

The M64/03 flat-six has been rebuilt and modified to displace 3.8 liters, reportedly by Neil Bainbridge in the United Kingdom circa 2017. It features revised camshafts and a headers-back Cargraphic exhaust system. Compression test results are shown in the gallery.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a replacement G50/04 five-speed manual transaxle. The gearbox was rebuilt at some point under prior ownership, and the clutch master cylinder was replaced in July 2019.

The Carfax report shows the aforementioned mileage inconsistency.

The Florida title has a Use entry indicating “Lease.”
