This 1997 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra coupe remained registered within the original owner’s collection until the seller’s purchase in 2025, and the car has since been driven 1,600 of the 3,800 miles indicated. It is finished in Black Clearcoat over Saddle leather and is powered by a 4.6-liter V8 paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Features include a limited-slip differential, a rear spoiler, fog lights, lowering springs, 17″ five-spoke Cobra R wheels, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a short-throw shifter kit, a Mach 460 sound system, a CD stereo, and air conditioning. This Mustang SVT Cobra coupe is now offered with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, spare parts, a car cover, and a clean Maryland title.

The SVT Cobra featured Cobra-logo fender badges and a revised front bumper cover when compared to the contemporary Mustang GT. This example is finished in Black Clearcoat and features fog lights, hood vents, a rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets. The windshield washer motor is in need of replacement, and a spare component is included in the sale.

The 17″ five-spoke Cobra R wheels are mounted with Nitto NT555 tires. A one-inch lowering kit is installed, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with Cobra-branded front calipers. The removed factory springs and wheels are included in the sale.

The cabin features articulated front seats upholstered in Saddle leather along with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Interior amenities include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, dual front airbags, a Mach 460 sound system, a CD stereo, and air conditioning. A short-throw shifter kit with a Hurst shifter is installed, and the removed factory components are included in the sale.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, voltage, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 3,800 miles, approximately 1,600 of which were added under current ownership.

The 4.6-liter V8 features electronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 305 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. The alternator, fuel pump, and fuel filter were replaced in April 2025.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a Borg-Warner T45 five-speed manual transmission and a Traction-Lok limited-slip differential. FlowMaster mufflers are installed.
