The 10 Best Nintendo Prime Day Deals — Including Switch 2 Games, Consoles, and More

Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days sale is here, and if you’ve got a Nintendo Switch or Switch 2, there are some surprisingly good game deals worth digging through.

The sale runs from October 6-7, and the discounts are exclusive to Prime members, so there’s not a huge amount of time to decide what you want before the offers disappear.

I’ve picked out some of the best deals below, including a couple of games that are offering a frankly ridiculous amount of entertainment for the money.

TL;DR – Best Switch 2 Deals Today

Nintendo Switch Game Deals – Prime Day

If you’ve been building up a backlog for your Switch 2, Prime Big Deal Days looks like a pretty good opportunity to start making a dent in it.

The two deals that immediately jump out are Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade for $24.99 and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth for $34.99 on Switch 2. Both are currently at their lowest prices, which is pretty wild considering how recently these games arrived on Nintendo’s new console.

Rebirth in particular is a ridiculous amount of game for $35. You’re looking at a massive RPG with well over 100 hours of content if you really want to get stuck into everything it has to offer. Add Remake to that for another $25 and you’ve got a huge chunk of Final Fantasy 7 for less than $60.

It’s also worth checking out Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds for $19.99. That’s a whopping $50 below its list price, and it’s one of the deals I’d be most tempted to throw into my basket. We gave the game a 9 in our IGN review, and having played it myself, I think it’s a brilliant racing game that’s particularly well suited to the Switch’s pick-up-and-play nature.

For something considerably less cheerful, Resident Evil Requiem is down to $49.99. That’s a new low for the game at Amazon, and it’s an especially tempting buy if you’re after something to put the Switch 2’s hardware through its paces. It’s also my favourite game of 2026 so far, so this one comes with a personal recommendation..

Nintendo Switch 2 Console Deals

Obviously, most retailers will be highlighting the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle in the sale, even if it isn’t technically a sale item. You can save $37.97 if you buy this bundle, versus buying the console, game, and NSO membership separately.

It’s certainly not as good as the bundle deal we saw for the Switch 2 at launch, but considering the price of those bad boys has gone up this year (along with everything else, am I right?), it’s still not a bad offering and worth calling out nonetheless.

Save on a $10 Nintendo eShop Gift Card

Speaking of Nintendo Switch gaming libraries, this eShop gift card deal is definitely worth checking out if you, or someone you know, is hoping to pick up some new digital games this fall.

Amazon’s knocked 10% off this gift card’s usual list price of $10, so you can scoop it up for $8.98 instead. It’s a nice little offer to add to your cart, especially if you’re holiday shopping for a Nintendo fan.

The store page notes that you can buy up to 2 as well, so why not grab the second as a little treat for yourself?

Save on Select Switch 2 Preorders

These offers may not be related to the ongoing Prime sale, but they’re nonetheless video game deals that are well worth shouting about.

Select Switch 2 games coming out soon – Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Metroid Ravenous, and Nintendo Switch Sports Resort – all have $10 knocked off their preorder prices right now.

Ever since Nintendo announced that new digital Switch 2 games would have a different cost to their physical counterparts, this is a trend we’ve seen among some retailers on select newer Switch 2 titles.

While there’s no telling how long this trend will last for, it’s certainly a welcome one if you’ve been hoping to add these games to your physical Switch 2 library.

The $10 off likely won’t last once the game is out, either, so preordering is your best chance to save.

Even More Gaming Prime Day Deals

See even more gaming deals that are live until the end of day, October 7, including a whole bunch of excellent deals for PS5 like Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, The Blood of Dawnwalker, Star Wars Zero Company, and more.

Should You Wait for Black Friday?

Honestly? Probably, yeah. While Amazon’s October Prime Day sale (Prime Big Deal Days) is a good opportunity to grab a few good deals, more often than not these offers will reappear in a month or less, as they were, or as even better deals. If you can hold out, I’ll always recommend waiting a little bit longer in order to save that bit more.

That being said, there is a rare chance that certain deals appear that are worth picking up ASAP. I, and the rest of my team, will often try to call these bargains out as and when we can, so you have the best opportunity to bag them. Otherwise, consider the rest of this article a helpful guide to what’s on sale, what you can pick up if you so choose to, and the prices to look for when the Black Friday sales eventually roll around in November.

The only other reason I’d ever suggest not waiting is if you value your time over your money. Now it seems like an obvious statement, but it’s not always a luxury we all get to have. If you do desperately want to play that game like right now and it’s driving you insane, or your TV just broke, or you lost your headphones, sales like this are a great opportunity to pay yourself in time, so you don’t have to stress or fret about something. Whatever the case, do what is best for you. I’m just a silly little guy, writing about silly little deals, on a silly little website.
