This 1994 Land Rover started life as a Defender 90 NAS and was the subject of a 110 wagon conversion by Safari Heritage Parts of Winter Park, Florida, in 2015. The build included fitting 110 body panels and tubs to a Marsland 110-spec galvanized frame as well as the installation of a 2.5-liter 300Tdi turbodiesel inline-four, Terra Firma steering and suspension components, a Safety Devices exterior roll cage and front bumper, later-model front and second row seats with gray fabric covers, and replacement instrumentation. Finished in blue, the truck also features 16″ Tornado wheels, a five-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, a locking center differential, LED exterior lighting, a Warn electric winch, external storage lockers, and a Jenson Bluetooth stereo. This 110 conversion is offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with service records and a Texas title in the current owner’s name.

The truck left the factory as a Defender 90 NAS soft top, and the conversion began in 2015 after it was damaged in March 2013, as outlined in an entry on the Carfax report, which also notes “Vehicle inspected after an accident or other incident” in December 2008. The work by Safari Heritage Parts included installation of a 110 tub, panels, and wagon roof to a galvanized Marsland 110 Defender 300 Tdi frame, and media blasting the body prior to being finished in blue.

Exterior details include a Safety Devices exterior roll cage and front bumper as well as LED lighting, a Warn electric winch, checker-plate trim, a rear ladder, rear quarter panel storage lockers, and an NAS-style tubular rear bumper. Aluminum intake vents and stainless-steel vent hinges were installed in May 2025. Imperfections are presented in the gallery.

The 16″ Tornado wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires, and a matching spare is affixed to the rear door. Stopping power is provided by discs at each corner. During the build, a Terra Firma adjustable panhard rod, steering rods, rear springs, and spring retaining plates were installed, and the steering rod end ball joints and the power steering pump and hoses were replaced.

The cabin had bedliner material applied to the floors and was outfitted with later-model front bucket seats and a split-folding second-row bench that wear gray fabric covers featuring brown vinyl outer bolsters. Additional interior appointments include a heater, a center console, cup holders, USB charging ports, and a Jensen Bluetooth stereo.

The two-spoke steering frames replacement instrumentation consisting of a 120-mph speedometer, a clock, and auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 19k miles. A mileage inconsistency is noted on the Carfax report in an August 2024 entry, and total mileage is unknown.

The replacement 2.5-liter 300Tdi turbodiesel inline-four was rebuilt prior to installation with dual Kinetik batteries, an Allisport aluminum radiator, and replacement camshaft bearings, piston rings, freeze plugs, head bolts, water pump, glow plugs, fuel pump and tank, and main and big-end bearings.

Power is routed to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission, a limited-slip rear differential, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking center differential. The clutch disc, slave cylinder, release arm, throwout bearing, rear main seals, and transmission mounts were replaced during the build.

The VIN tag at the base of the windshield has been retained. The VIN stamping from the factory Defender 90 frame was reportedly removed from the scrapped chassis and affixed to the center console of the finished truck.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned damage and mileage inconsistencies.
The Texas title notes “Exempt” under the Odometer Reading heading.
